War? 25 Red States Rally ‘Round Texas As Battle Brews With Biden Over Border

Via ZeroHedge

A coalition of red states has rallied around Texas, after Governor Greg Abbott invoked the state’s constitutional right to self-defense due to the migrant crisis, which he deemed an ‘invasion.’

As End Wokeness notes, a coalition of 25 Republican governors have signed a joint letter in support of the Texas resistance.

The support began on Wednesday, with Governor Kevin Stitt tweeting: “Oklahoma stands with Texas.”

TX is upholding the law while Biden is flouting it,” said Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

And of course, the optics couldn’t be worse for the Biden administration – which is now faced with the prospect of going to war with Texas, during an election year, to keep the border open.

And Wall Street Silver pointed out on X, Texas is authorized to engage in war if being invaded according to Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the Constitution.

Though as X user blueapples points out, Abbott cited the dissenting (losing) position in Arizona v. United States which determined that federal law overrides state laws when it comes to regulating those who are unlawfully present in the US, except when it comes to a state’s right to require officers to verify the citizenship or alien status of detained migrants.

Regardless, Abbott has drawn a line in the sand – and whatever litigation may play out in the courts is secondary to the fact that this is happening now.

As journalist Matt Walsh notes, “Abbott has Biden over a barrel here.”

“What is Biden going to do? Send the military in to forcibly open the border? In an election year?”

(h/t Geller Report)

Meanwhile in Washington, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told fellow Republicans in a private meeting on Ukraine that time and the political will to pass a bipartisan immigration and border security compromise is running out, Punchbowl News reports.

According to the outlet:

McConnell told GOP senators that before border security talks began, immigration policy united Republicans and Ukraine aid divided them. “Politics on this have changed,” McConnell said of solving the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border. That’s because former President Donald Trump wants to run his 2024 campaign focusing on immigration.

We don’t want to do anything to undermine him,” McConnell said of Trump – effectively backing away from the ‘border-security-for-Ukraine’ construct that Republicans have been clinging to the last few months.

25 = half.

This is civil war.

Let us, for the first time in human history, just go our separate ways . . . peaceably.

You say tomato, I say tomahto.

Can’t we all just get . . .

away from each other?

P.S.: The truth is, it’s not 50% of people . . . it’s 50% of “states”.

Abolish the state.

War is the health of the state.

War is a racket.

As soon as one blue state like Illinois throws their support behind Texas, the dam breaks. Then we close the border. Brilliant strategy to bus illegals to “sanctuary cities” so they get a real sense of what is happening in the border states.
But, this also means there will be no elections this year.

25+ Texas makes a majority and in a Democracy, majority rules. So who is it that is trying to protect “Our Democracy” and which side no longer believes in Democracy?

But they keep calling the US a democracy and everything they do is to “save the democracy”. When 26 states turn against Joey, and with them, the majority rules, they will change their tune. Of course someone has to point these facts out, but I don’t think Rona will be the one to do it.

If the blob sends federal troops to Texas to go against the TX National Guard, a lot of civilians will get their guns and stand with the Guard. Then, in the face-off, if the federals do something stupid (is there any doubt that will happen), mark your calendars because that will be the day Civil War 2 starts.

Wasn’t exactly my AO, but there has been many standoffs like this, that were over all very painless cost wise to benefit. Even Jan 6th the cost has been comparatively minor what others have been willing to give for freedom, trap or not, that people have paid dearly for much less benefit what was had Jan 6th.
Your enemy will always try to set a trap for you, no matter what you do. They are setting the ultimate trap to kill us all, as we tweedle dee and tweedle dum accusing them of setting foot snares!
They always have set traps, and what real cost has been paid so dearly in the recent past these many traps, these many standoff and encounters, when even so few have stood up like men of the west?
If they were so all powerful, why did they not close those traps all these past traps? How much less so to stand up in mass? What makes it so much more likely to close the trap on a 10,000 plus, than a few 100 of the past? That doesn’t even make sense.
Have we suffered even one in ten thousands of those in the past for freedom? Probably not 1 in 100,000? Was D day a trap?
History belongs to the bold (which doesn’t mean stupid either). The view from here looks like those who are going to write history and own the future aren’t who were once bold. It is going to be our betters.
You know what I think? I think the Art of War at it’s finest is not only to win the war before the first arrow flies, but to get your enemy to kneel by the ditch to wait for the pill in the back of the head. And they seem to be the masters of it.
Proverbs 26:27 states, “Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him”

I expect Texas will get only “Verbal Support” from most of those states as they do not want to risk losing Federal Money if the actually send Troops.

States such as Florida and S. Dakota have already sent National Guardsmen to help out on the border. Imagine if they deputized every willing Texan to serve either in the Texas Rangers or as Deputy Sheriffs with the power to arrest Federal agents.

So what? All politicians worship the Wall, they have to…Israel controls them. What is happening in Texas is still a cipher, where it goes remains to be seen. However, when you have twenty five states standing in support and sending armed troops then you might want to take a broader view of the state of affairs. It’s no longer Abbott, half of the country has stated they stand behind Texas and damming the wall of invaders destroying the country and countless citizens are also willing to take a stand.
It could all be bullshit but here’s the key…

Unlike the unarmed dupes from J6, these are ARMED men (and women) who are willing to defend the BORDERS of the country, the very borders of the nation from being invaded. This is far bigger than what your little brain can conceive and Abbott, while being a cuck, has also, for whatever reason, ignited a fuse and too many people have needed a rallying point. Could this end up like Canadian truckers and other movements of that kind? Of course…but they weren’t armed or defending their land from invasion.

They have been baiting white males into staging some sort of violent response for decades. They simply haven’t given it to them.

This provides the cover they need. People will believe that this is genuine (much like the response to Trumps January 6th appeal) and think that finally, some politicians have grown a set of balls and now is the time to line up behind them.

Then the glowies throw a FF, probably those khaki wearing dudes with the shields, they’ll shoot up a bunch of stubby Guatemalan Seraphinas and Consuelos with their stroller convoys and then it’s time for Biden to ramp up the F-16 strikes on Idaho like he promised.

There is nothing authentic about this. It contradicts everything that these border governors have been doing for the past few decades and only serves to provide a casus belli for FedGov.

No matter how cynical I become, I can’t keep up*

Top and center with this already aging thread. I’m still seeing no updates about all those “troops” the red states have sent to Texas. The “troop” support according to some of the posts. I’ll be the first to admit I could be wrong about my doubts on such talk of sending “troops”. What I’m seeing now , and as mentioned the Jeopardy theme simply gave out waiting, is nothing more that the smoke any number of “government” officials blow up peeps poop holes.
