WE NEED HARDSCRABBLE FARMER’S ASSESSMENT

No this is not a Babylon Bee article. What is the purpose in putting out such drivel? Our resident expert in moon landings and physiognomy – Hardscrabble Farmer – needs to chime in and provide the odds of this venture being achieved.

Russia Mulls Putting Nuclear Power Plant On Moon

By Julianna Geiger of OilPrice.com

Russia is considering a nuclear power plant installation on the moon starting between 2033 and 2035, according to the head of Russia’s space agency Roscosmos.

Russia—along with China—is considering the idea of placing a nuclear power plant on the moon over the next decade or so, and the two countries have been working together on a lunar program for nuclear space energy.

“Today we are seriously considering a project—somewhere at the turn of 2033-2035—to deliver and install a power unit on the lunar surface together with our Chinese colleagues,” Yuri Borisov, head of Roscosmos said on Tuesday.

According to Borisov, solar panels would provide an insufficient amount of electricity to power future lunar settlements. Nuclear power, on the other hand, would be sufficient.

Russia also has plans to build a nuclear-powered cargo spaceship—most of which had already been mapped out, although the one remaining question in the project was how to cool the nuclear reactor.

The cargo spacecraft would be able to transport large cargoes from one orbit to another, Borisov said.

Moscow will need to launch additional lunar missions first, before fully exploring the idea of a Russian/China crewed mission or a lunar base.

In February, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke out against the United States, who accused Moscow of planning to put nuclear weapons in space.

Last year, Russia suffered a significant defeat when its Luna-25 mission failed nine days after launch when it collided with the lunar surface. At the time, analysts spoke out against Russia’s space prowess, accusing it of yet another indicator of how the Russian space program had deteriorated in recent years.

Luna 25 would have been Russia’s first probe on the moon’s surface since the Soviet collapse and the first since 1976.

Proof positive that Putin is not your friend. He’s in on the hoax. I’ll bet that they even have chemtrails over there in Russia too.

If you were Satan and had title deed to this planet, wouldn’t you have every leader on the planet in your hip pocket after 6000 years or so? This isn’t difficult to understand once you have the relevant facts around the issue. We’re in the end game now, baby!

You can be certain that they would if they could. This past summer I observed chemtrails being sprayed from one of the most remote regions of the world- the Thelon river.

A nuclear power plant can be a battery than runs off the heat of decaying refined uranium.
Probably several “nuclear power plants” already on the moon.

Not really. Russia is HUGE. We’re not going to be wasting nukes shooting at empty forest, so much of the country will remain untouched in the aftermath.

Which reminds me, how much room has Russia made for all these killer nigger klowns looking to relocate?

I know we were all taught that the evil commies were out to get us… I believe that about as much as the Apollo missions .

The Russian Federation has 190 recognized ethnic groups, widely diverse people, spread across 11 time zones! Some of the most stunning red heads you’ll find on the planet. Don’t buy the propaganda.

A fundamental tenet of communism is that “capitalism” must be destroyed before true communism can arise, which is why they always put the destruction of America high on their list. First even.
That can’t change because free people with protected property rights will never accept communism.

Of course it’s possible that the leaders like Putin aren’t really communists, but just garden variety power hungry authoritarians.

And BTW, “recognizing ethnic groups” is divisive and does nothing to grant those groups the rights they have and should be able to exercise..

Years ago I first heard of Thorium when I watched a video about how it was considered for powering a lunar base station. I think this was considered in the 1960’s. All this space travel stuff looks like a money pit to me. The costs are insane, I guess because the Government is involved.

They actually spent very little on exploration and conquest, but the waves that followed came because there were known resources that were readily available. Especially things like water, breathable air and food.

So how often is there a meteor strike on the lunar surface. Obviously no atmosphere to burn anything up like on Earth, so how safe would a nuclear plant be there (not that I think any human has ever landed there or that these plans are anything other than propaganda….like Apollo).

Modern aircraft have such good stealth technology that a plane the size of an airliner can fly overhead at 30K feet and give the same radar bounce as a hummingbird. Do you really, REALLY, think that the US (and Russia) have not long ago put that same stealth capability on satellites orbiting at 500 or 5,000 miles up? Knowing with great certainty that we (and Russia and China) can put up totally undetectable satellites, and also remembering that the signature of the US (and Russia, and China, and Israel) on any international treaty is worth ZERO, do you really, REALLY, think that we (and Russia, and China, and Israel) did not put nuclear weapons in space maybe half a century ago?

Of course there are nuclear weapons in space. Some of them have probably been there since before some of the people reading this were born. Don’t be naïve.

Sure , everything natural is fake and all the artificial shit is real . I think when I was like 3 I was riding in the Moose family station wagon at night looking out the window into the night sky and I thought the moon was following us because it didn’t appear to recede away or get closer to us relative to the speed we we’re traveling LOL . Wherever we went or however fast we went there it was . Whats 20 or 60 miles between heavenly bodies ? I think its another one of those things that having been around long enough I can safely call BS on . REE .
