The most consequential falsehood in American public policy today is the idea that any racial disparity in any institution is by definition the result of racial discrimination.
If a cancer research lab, for example, does not have 13 percent black oncologists—the black share of the national population—it is by definition a racist lab that discriminates against competitively qualified black oncologists; if an airline company doesn’t have 13 percent black pilots, it is by definition a racist airline company that discriminates against competitively qualified black pilots; and if a prison population contains more than 13 percent black prisoners, our law enforcement system is racist.
The claim that racial disparities are proof of racial discrimination has been percolating in academia and the media for a long time. After the George Floyd race riots of 2020, however, it was adopted by America’s most elite institutions, from big law and big business to big finance. Even museums and orchestras took up the cry.
Many thought that STEM—the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—would escape the diversity sledgehammer. They were wrong. The American Medical Association today insists that medicine is characterized by white supremacy. Nature magazine declares that science manifests one of “humankind’s worst excesses”: racism. The Smithsonian Institution announces that “emphasis on the scientific method” and an interest in “cause and effect relationships” are part of totalitarian whiteness.
As a result of this falsehood, we are eviscerating meritocratic and behavioral standards in accordance with what is known as “disparate impact analysis.”
Consider medicine. … (full article here)
The NFL is racist, the white population is inadequately represent. Why aren’t DEI proponents screaming about that?
The NFL is even worse for Asians.
Midgets have it the worst.
I KNEW we had a midget hiding among us!
I have it on “good” authority (daughters and ex) everytime I call them midgets, that they prefer to be called little people. Not that these authorities have I suspect ever asked one of them.
The m word is blanked out on certain posts bc offensive and all that. Who knew?
Little people? Yet I always thought children were little people!
Yeah, seems a little insulting to me, but that is just me. Interestingly, dwarf is still in vogue, and as a scientific term at that. Some, from what I can tell, still like midget. As somebody suggested, probably just calling them by name would suffice.
Problem is, is I don’t know the one’s name that comes here to deliver packages (from fedex maybe?) so that is not an option. It is funny because he is afraid of the chickens, and always gives them the stink eye and a side step or two when he comes up, while he is the funniest to watch, he certainly isn’t the only one afraid of the chickens.
Black girls when they come up for delivery are probably the next funniest. Love having a camera pointed in that direction to be able to watch people’s reactions.
The only thing I have ever said to the Fed Ex guy is the UPS guy said never to trust him. He had a good laugh.
In order to make.the NBA fair to short people they need place razor six feet high right across the center of the court.
That reminds me, what ever you call them, little people, dwarfs or midgets, they are banned from playing Major League baseball.
Speaking truth will get her ignored like she never existed it’s the communist way. Have to admire her courage.
She does a great job as an author-her writings tell it like it is. She’d be a great veep selection for Orange Man in the event he wants to really do something good about immigration other than talk about it.

You got corporatism in my Government! No! YOU got government in muh corporatism!
Round and round it goes. Where it stops, everybody knows! In the unemployment line!
TCS is using my meme.
No. I stole it from some nameless fuck.
See the problem NOW?
yeah!
I have a name TCS….
Just because you do not recognize me, is not my error in judgment.
Well by that metric, most pro sports is extremely racist against whites.
We’ll always have Bowling.
And we Guineas will have bocce …

There MUST be SOMEONE fostering ALL the EVIL.
My father was head of a law firm of some size in Florida for years about 20 years ago. They had some female lawyers but no black lawyers. For some unknown reason the EEOC decided to investigate them. Then they demanded to know why there were no black lawyers there. The firm did some research on past hiring and determined that only one had ever applied. It was determined to not hire him for some reason. They turned all the data over to the EEOC and never heard another thing from them.
Reading and math comprehension of niggers graduating from high school indicates that there are very few niggers who qualify for any job that requires reading. You can’t make shit into ice cream.
Not to worry.
They now qualify as accomplished doctors and surgeons by the simple act of being black.
Plus they have lots of choices in the lawyering field in Atlanta.
…..and after you’ve hired them and found out they are worthless; you can’t get rid of them. To shield their incompetence the race card is ALWAYS pulled out at some point.
One of the earliest ways of using the 14th Amendment to bludgeon our Constitution and our Law was by the nonsense doctrine of ‘substantive due process’ … whether the ‘substance’ of the law violated due process provisions. It was utilized to push through all sorts of anti-White provisions.
Next came ‘disparate impact’ … back in the ’70s/’80s … again, to utilize the 14th Amendment as a bludgeon. Eventually we witnessed the 14th Amendment utilized to get rid of the 10th Amendment — States Rights — and that has provided US with such glaring Constitutional abominations as Obergefell … gay marriage.
Stanford University – one of the major scientific universities in the world – has decided to dumb down its requirements in STEM … so that blacks and other people of color can pursue STEM courses … even though they’re obviously not qualified to do so under truly objective measures of aptitude or ability. The same with MIT … the same throughout the medical-industrial-complex and the legal profession.
I’ve had AA physicians … I don’t call them ‘doctors’, because they’re not qualified to be ‘doctors’ … and they’ve been totally incompetent — yet they’re the ones that are pushed on the rest of US to administer to our health needs.
Balderdash …
At least some of the many red dot Indian docs are reasonably competent.
How about the biggest disparate impact in the United States … how less than 2% of the population controls the entire media-industrial-complex, the legal complex, the financial complex, the university-industrial-complex?
Hmmmm….you seem to be referring to this ethno-religious group.
And laws are being passed to offer them special protection from hurt feelings as well as millions in security grants from the gov.
Worked for one of the early, large high tech firms. Was amazed as a new hire to learn of their emerging strategy to hire AA employees at DOUBLE the mandated rate. At our location we were way below that goal yet the cost and lost opportunity from having them around to muck things up was troubling. Had we actually met the 2X rate we probably would have been eaten alive by our competition. Some of the gals had potential, but they would usually get married, get pregnant, or get fed up and move on. The racial picks were more often than not a joke-if you had to have one in your department the smartest thing to do was give them tasks that were inconsequential. Hell of a way to run a business.
