The “network surveillance” will be in every streetlight, traffic signal, private car and even select trees in wooded areas, not to mention the small fleet of small, cheap and fast general surveillance and targeting drones.

1. Purchase a 1 to 5 watts laser pointer.
2. Point at drone camera.
3. Drone is now blind.
How to blind multiple drones md warplane pilots:
1. Purchase multiple 1to 5 watt lasers.
2. Purchase several disco mirror balls
3. Set groups of four lasers to alternately turn on and off while pointed at slow turning mirror ball.
4. Cover up all mirror squares which direct light down.
5. Have hundreds or thousands of these set up all around regions you want to defend.
6. The constant wash of the sky with thousands of beams of permanently blinding laser lights should make “air domination” obsolete.

Would certainly eliminate most of the drone threat.
How? Because magic light show?
Point a laser up, leave it on nonstop. What are the chances it hits a sensor or camera on anything, ever? Making a fixed pattern (‘disco ball’ idea) won’t improve those odds.
So … a few questions, first.
One — what is the effective range of these laser pointers?
Two — what is the size (in mm) of the drone cameras?
Three — just how does one aim the laser pointer at the camera on a moving drone?
Four — are you serious?
