My dad used to take me down to Darby every Saturday to the 5 & 10 store or the Kiddie City where I could buy a pack of baseball cards or some toy soldiers. We would take the trolley from Darby to 69th Street at Christmas time to see Santa Claus. My brother and mother both worked at the Wellworth Store on Main Street in Darby. Those days are long gone.
Darby is now a lawless hell hole where blacks beat each other with baseball bats and shoot each other on a daily basis. This was the fourth shooting in the last five days in Darby. The politicians running Darby are corrupt, ignorant, and dysfunctional. The Borough is bankrupt. They can’t afford to pay the police. Now you know why I desperately have been trying to get my mother to move out of Collingdale, as it is two miles from this shithole ghetto of murderers and scum. Within ten years Collingdale will be experiencing the same environment as Darby.

DARBY BOROUGH., Pa. (WPVI) —
Police say a large fight ended with gunfire and a stray bullet flying into a home in Darby Borough, Delaware County.
Around 6:00 p.m. Sunday, police were called for the report of a shooting near North 3rd Street and Greenway Avenue.
Police tell Action News that there was a fight between several males and females and some involved were using baseball bats.
