I love the smell of Joe Manchin in the morning … it smells like … victory.
If you survey the charred ruins of the progressives’ hopes and dreams, you will need to have a heart of stone not to burst into hysterical laughter at their pain. They were so close, so very close, and their heart’s desire was ripped from them by a senator from a sane state who had zero desire to commit ritual, political suicide to please the brother-curious likes of Ilhan Omar.
Cue the gif of a team of Joes carrying a coffin to that catchy EDM song. Savor. Taste their pain. Biden is broken, Schumer is humiliated, the “moderate” House Dems who Mistress Pelosi commanded to vote for this abortion are doomed in 2022, and somewhere, the Murder Turtle is smiling.

Crazed Nutjob Hellbent On Destroying Country With His Psychotic Moderate Policies
WASHINGTON, D.C.—As heroic Democrats in Washington race against time to save America from the horrors of not spending $3.5 trillion dollars, there is an utter psychopath who is standing in their way with his moderate policies: Joe Manchin.
“Joe Manchin is greedy and immoral,” said Senator Bernie Sanders, who was really mad to see his $300 billion in gulag funding removed from the infrastructure bill. “He must be stopped before he destroys the country with his reasonable attempt to compromise with Nazis who don’t want to spend 3.5 trillion dollars. He’s clearly lost his mind.”
“Joe Manchin is an existential threat to democracy and he even tried to kill me,” said AOC to the press. “He’s on an evil sexist rampage of fiscal responsibility. The other day he waved ‘hi’ to me but it was a terrifying, aggressive wave. If I am killed, please know that it was Joe Manchin who probably did it.”
According to sources, in addition to being a deranged fiscal moderate, Manchin is also pro-life, which makes him literally Hitler. Democrats are praying they can stop this monster before it’s too late.

What has given this moderate Democrat from West Virginia such an opportunity to write himself into the history books? It is the unique political circumstances of 2021.
In 1859, Abraham Lincoln related the tale of an Eastern monarch who charged his wise men with discovering words that would everywhere and always be true.
The wise men went away and returned to present the monarch with this six-word sentence: “And this, too, shall pass away.”
So, the question: How long will Sen. Joe Manchin’s hour of power last before it, too, passes away?
What will Manchin make of it? And what will his legacy be?

Democratic Showdown: Kamala vs. Manchin

As for Manchin, he is sitting in the catbird seat in the Democratic Party. He holds the whip hand over both Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Biden. For if the West Virginian refuses to bend or break on the filibuster, then not only will the voting rights bill fail in the Senate, so, too, could gun control, D.C. statehood, climate change, and immigration legislation.
Speaking in Tulsa on the 100th anniversary of the racial atrocity there, Joe Biden belatedly turned to the issue of voting rights, to explain why he is having such difficulty winning passage of the party’s priority legislation.
“I hear all the folks on TV saying, ‘Why doesn’t Biden get this done?’”
“Well, because Biden only has a majority of, effectively, four votes in the House and a tie in the Senate, with two members of the Senate who vote more with my Republican friends.”
