Innocent Man “Swatted” to Death by Kansas heroes…

Guest Post by Eric Peters

A prank call to “heroes” has resulted in an innocent man’s death at a home in Wichita, Kansas.

Andrew Finch, 28, was shot and killed Thursday after police responded to an anonymous call about a shooting involving hostages.

The caller claimed someone had an argument with their mother; that the woman’s husband was accidentally shot; and that a brother, a sister and the mother were being held hostage, according to head Wichita “hero” Troy Livingston

“We learned through that call that the father was deceased, shot in the head. So that’s the information we were working off of,” Livingston said. “Our officers came here preparing for a hostage situation. Several got in position. A male came to the front door, and one of our officers discharged his weapon.

CA “heroes” Beat Motorist Over Tinted Windows, “Missing” Front Plate

Guest Post by Eric Peters

Well, here’s another one…

In Pasadena, CA some “heroes” (aka, law enforcers) noticed a motorist driving a car with windows that were tinted “too much” and which was missing its front license plate. These are heinous offenses against the peace, you see. Can’t that let that go.

A stop was initiated.

Which quickly led to a violent beat down of the unarmed, unresisting motorist:

The “heroes” beat the man – 21-year-old Christopher Ballew – bloody and broke his leg, later claiming that Ballew’s attempts to ward off the beatdown constituted “resisting” and “assault upon a peace officer.”

It’s Not Much to Ask . . .

Guest Post by Eric Peters

It’s fine to talk theory – what would be ideal. But while working toward that, what about practical changes that don’t require a sea change evolution in consciousness? For example, what can be done – in practical terms –   about law enforcement?

That there is a problem is as obvious as Caitlyn Jenner’s Adam’s apple. The big problem – tyrannical laws based on the tyrannical idea that it’s legitimate to order people around and abuse them for not causing any harm to anyone – isn’t going to be solved absent a sea-change evolution in consciousness.

But there are some obvious fixes that would make things a lot better right now – and it’s hard to imagine anyone objecting:

Law enforcers should be required to know the law – and be fired when they are caught making up law  …

Degradation as Procedure

Guest Post by Eric Peters

Have you noticed that it’s become common – if not practice – for armed government workers to force people to the ground, knee in the back – guns trained on them – as part of seemingly every arrest?

Violent men, okay. They are potentially a “threat” to the “safety” of armed government workers. But what about men not violent? Women not “resisting”? Junior high kids?

They are being “taken down” just the same.

Storage Cubby “Criminals”

Guest Post by Eric Peters

You may be aware that cops can simply steal – yes, that’s exactly the correct word – cash found on your person or in your vehicle, in the course of a traffic stop, say – solely on account of it being an “excessive” amount.

“Excessive” being entirely up to them to define.

It could be $10,000 – or $1,000. There is no specific amount of cash defined by statute that crosses a legal threshold. Thus, one cannot know ahead of time not to carry, say, $5,000 – but $500 is ok.

It is enough that a government worker with a gun considers whatever cash you are found to have in your possession “excessive.”

And these armed government workers can legally steal it from you on the basis of the cash being the presumptive – but not proved – fruits of some illegal activity, usually imputed to be the selling or buying of arbitrarily illegal drugs.

Florida “heroes” Hassle Wrong Black Lady

Guest Post by Eric Peters

A story just burped up on CNN (here) that is interesting for several reasons. It describes a “routine” traffic stop by Florida cops in which the tables are very suddenly turned on the cops performing the stop.

A black woman was driving her car … well, you can guess what comes next. For no legitimate reason whatsoever, an unmarked cop car (a cop truck, actually; be aware – the cops in this instance were in a black F-150 pick-up) lights her up and pulls her over.

Here’s where it gets . . . interesting.

The cop approaches the car and the woman behind the wheel hands him her ID. It becomes very quickly apparent to the cop that he has pulled over the wrong black woman. Aramis Ayala. She is the Florida state attorney, the number one law enforcement official in the state. The demeanor of the cops immediately becomes supine and deferential.

Whoopsie.

Execution by Firing Squad: The Militarized Police State Opens Fire

Guest Post by John W. Whitehead

“It is often the case that police shootings, incidents where law enforcement officers pull the trigger on civilians, are left out of the conversation on gun violence. But a police officer shooting a civilian counts as gun violence. Every time an officer uses a gun against an innocent or an unarmed person contributes to the culture of gun violence in this country.”—Journalist Celisa Calacal

Legally owning a gun in America could get you killed by a government agent.

While it still technically remains legal to own a firearm in America, possessing one can now get you pulled over, searched, arrested, subjected to all manner of surveillance, treated as a suspect without ever having committed a crime, shot at and killed.

This same rule does not apply to government agents, however, who are armed to the hilt and rarely given more than a slap on the wrists for using their weapons to shoot and kill American citizens.

According to the Washington Post, “1 in 13 people killed by guns are killed by police.”

Watch an 11-Year-Old Boy Shut Down a Speed Trap and Flex His Rights Like a Pro!

Nothing illustrates how the times are changing quite like an 11-year-old boy filming the police and shutting down a speed trap.

Mikey, an 11-year-old boy from New Hampshire made an awesome video this week showing him holding up a sign to warn motorists that there was a speed trap ahead. Within only a few minutes, this mini rights-flexing guru shuts down the officer and forces him to move on.

But holding the sign to warn motorists was only half of Mikey’s awesomeness. When the state trooper came back to intimidate the tike, Mikey held his own better than some adults would have done.

Without batting an eye, Mikey continued to film and refused to answer questions, thereby ending the stop before it even began. Below is that amazing video.
