My wife was born with one kidney, a medical student found that she had polycystic kidney disease while she was in the womb. One kidney was completely dried up and died (that’s how we refer to it). The survival odds are one in millions. She was not supposed to survive birth but is now 39 and has birthed our 2 boys (Thank you Jesus)! She is the strongest woman I have ever known, best wife, and mother.
We are going to schedule Ureter Reconstruction Surgery for next month to hopefully fix her latest problem’s. She has had 11 surgery’s in 13 months. I do not send this for sympathy but for prayers. Good news is that all the Kidney Doctors want to see her because she is so rare. There is so much more to her story.. I am blessed to have her as my Wife and the Mother of my boys!
