My wife was born with one kidney, a medical student found that she had polycystic kidney disease while she was in the womb. One kidney was completely dried up and died (that’s how we refer to it). The survival odds are one in millions. She was not supposed to survive birth but is now 39 and has birthed our 2 boys (Thank you Jesus)! She is the strongest woman I have ever known, best wife, and mother.
We are going to schedule Ureter Reconstruction Surgery for next month to hopefully fix her latest problem’s. She has had 11 surgery’s in 13 months. I do not send this for sympathy but for prayers. Good news is that all the Kidney Doctors want to see her because she is so rare. There is so much more to her story.. I am blessed to have her as my Wife and the Mother of my boys!

You are wise to do this…my 7 year old grandson had meningitis (he is now 10) and recovered overnight…I sent out a pray request to every praying person I knew.
As our plane touched down in the rush to get to the hospital my daughter texted us the ‘Good News’.

While I am not a religious person in the normal sense do feel we can send and folks receive our good thoughts/wishes.
With that said I send you and your wife all the positive feelings I can and look forward to hearing of her doing well for decades to come,we are all in this together.
I was not religious prior to being locked down in the open air prison that is Canada for the past 2 years, but I have found the power of prayer to be immensely comforting. I started with regular recitement of the Lord’s prayer I learned in grade school, and have since also added the Jesus prayer as well prayers for family and others who could use a little help.
KBMNEGA, I have said a prayer for Jamie as well as for you and your children. God listens to our prayers and he is the author of miracles. May his grace shine upon you and bring you peace in your time of troubles. In faith you asked for prayers and in faith we said them and will continue to lift you and your family up to the Lord. May His will be done.
I will remember to mention your needs in my prayers. I believe they are answered, although sometimes the answers are confusing.
Hope springs eternal from God.

When God is on your side you are in the majority and never be left on your own. Its a great thing to ask for His children to collectively pray and we do this with a joyful heart.
We ask our Father for peace for your family.

We ask that the surgery is quick and the results better than expected.
We ask that recovery is also quick and Jamie is able to function normally with little discomfort.
We ask that this family will see Your handiwork and the miracles big and small thru it all.

God is merciful and mighty. He knit Jamie together in her mother’s womb. He knows her perfectly, and loves her.

Father God, we Thank You for renewing our mercies every morning and as we breathe the breath of life we ask that You, in the name of Jesus Christ, life up this family, heal this young lady, this mother, Your daughter, heal her, Father, to fully restore her and let her walk out of this hospital. Let her see the Beauty of God in her families eyes and feel Your presence in her heart.
God Almighty, we ask the Holy Spirit to fall on this hospital and touch every doctor, ever nurse, every care giver, touch their heart right now. Father, be their hands, that You may use their hands in surgery to show Your healing power. Prayers sent. Seems like you have her under the best care. I cannot stress to people to find the best of the best and not settle on some small city Doctor. My uncle had a severe case of diverticulitis and ended up having surgery that had him on a colostomy bag for a few months. He just went to get his colon reattached and they messed something up. He is currently in the ICU and we are at the same stage of praying he recovers and recovers with no organ damage.
While you Prayer Warriors are engaged with The Mighty God who does answer prayers ….. please remember to pray for the President of our country — presumably Joseph Biden — for I read in today’s Shit Ledger that he caught Covid …………. AGAIN.

I cannot add anything to the beautiful words written here. I, too, am praying for you, Keith and Jamie.
We received word from a very close family friend whose Dad was killed in a car accident last week and the mother is still in the ICU, so our prayers go their way, too.
Nothing like that for a kick in the gut and to put things into perspective.
