If Bill Nye had his way, Weather Channel founder John Coleman would be heading for jail. Having spent more than 60 years as a meteorologist, Coleman penned a pointed rebuke to “the science guy’s” vehement faith in the ‘science’ of climate change, exclaiming that “science has taken a back seat at The UN… get politics out of the climate debate.”
On this Earth Day 2016, there is a great deal of frenzy about how our Earth is going to become uninhabitable, as the civilized activities of man allegedly trigger unstoppable global warming and climate change.
With the Obama administration set to commit the U.S. to the Paris climate agreement by signing our nation onto the document Friday, it is obvious that science has taken a back seat at the United Nations.
The environmentalists, bureaucrats and politicians who make up the U.N.’s climate panel recruit scientists to research the climate issue. And they place only those who will produce the desired results. Money, politics and ideology have replaced science.
U.N. climate chief Christiana Figueres has called for a “centralized transformation” that is “going to make the life of everyone on the planet very different” to combat the alleged global warming threat. How many Americans are looking forward to the U.N. transforming their lives?
Another U.N. official has admitted that the U.N. seeks to “redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy.” The former head of the U.N. climate panel also recently declared that global warming “is my religion.”
When all the scare talk is pushed aside, it is the science that should be the basis for the debate. And the hard cold truth is that the basic theory has failed. Many notable scientists reject man-made global warming fears. And several of them, including a Nobel Prize winner, are in the new Climate Hustle movie. The film is an informative and even humorous new feature length movie that is the ultimate answer to Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth. It will be shown one day only in theaters nationwide on May 2.
As a skeptic of man-made global warming, I love our environment as much as anyone. I share the deepest commitment to protecting our planet for our children and grandchildren. However, I desperately want to get politics out of the climate debate. The Paris climate agreement is all about empowering the U.N. and has nothing to do with the climate.
This isn’t going to make any difference at all for those true believers that constitute the warmist left.
The more of the things they believe in are proven wrong, at least scientifically, the more they believe in them for some reason.
The “Science” is settled because as each theory fails it is replaced with another one which is just as flawed as the last.
As a research scientist for over 35 years in the field of Earth Science who has studied paleoclimates going back billions of years, knows and interacts with the world-class scientists studying the causal link (if any) between CO2 and global temperature, and has delved into the United Nations Inter-govermental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), I have concluded that the AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming) model is, based on our current understanding of the climate science (no bona fide scientist would ever say the science is settled), the greatest scientific fraud of the 20th century. The costs of this fraud is estimated at over a trillion dollars. Furthermore, periods of warming were periods of civilizational progress including the Roman Warming (250BC-450AD), Medieval Warming (900AD-1300AD) and Modern Warming (1850AD-present). Furthermore, carbon dioxide is an odourless, non-polluting gas-of-life because of the fundamental and essential role that it plays in photosynthesis. And since atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations at about 400 ppm today are low compared to the thousands of ppm that existed in the geological past, we should be striving to increase CO2 levels to increase organic productivity, thereby helping to feed the peoples of the world.
The scientific method has proven each new theory a failure, likely due to lack of understanding of basic interactions between the sun, oceans, land mass, atmosphere and atmospheric composition. No prediction of AGW has come true or shown signs of validity; no consequences predicted to date are observed. Those who claim “the science is settled” do not understand science; those who claim “we must act now” have no grasp of climatic time and elapsed times needed to effect climatic change.
Thieves and liars have seized on climate science the way they once seized on Zeus, Apollo and Diana; as vast, unpredictable forces that must be appeased before they annihilate us. High priests of AGW tell us Gaia will obliterate us if we do not change our ways!

Wedgie can sound pretty smart and he throws in the occasional misspelled word to throw us off. Today, he used ‘Furthermore’ twice plus he forgot to indent. I would say it’s his shit. Besides, who else would propose the earth needs more CO2? Unless his name was ILCO2.
