Muslim preacher openly screams about the evils of homosexuality on a Toronto street. The lack of police is stunning and the speed with which they do not appear can only be appreciated by contrast.
There are in fact more and better examples of that contrast. But I like the one linked above.
The video is from 2011, but there is no significant change in the manner in which the law is selectively enforced in favor of Islam and against everyone else to make a difference to the point.
Flashing forward to June 18 of this year though, we have this:

On the back cover of the books an official sticker of the Walk-In Islamic InfoCenter (WIIC) was attached containing a Quranic verse and WIIC’s contact information (address, phones, email and website).
The authors of the book maintain that homosexuality is a choice made by people and therefore a punishable crime. They liken homosexuality to other unlawful human inclinations such as rape, paedophilia or bestiality.
Canada’s federal government makes a distinction between the Islamic State (a.k.a IS, ISIL, Daesh, Caliphate) which executes gays by throwing them head-first from rooftops and the “true Islam” which implicitly is innocent of this extremist ideology.
“Canadians are quick to point out that ISIS is wrong, that Islam is not incompatible with the Western secular democracy, a free place like Canada,” said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who also explained that “painting ISIS and others with a broad brush that extends to all Muslims is not just ignorant, it is irresponsible.”
Stephane Dion, Minister of Foreign Affairs, depicted ISIS as follows: “A millenarian, apocalyptic ideology has also emerged—an unacceptable distortion of the Qur’an, which condemns to death all who refuse to submit to it.”
“Homophobia cannot be fought with Islamophobia,” said Premier Kthleen Wynne at LGBTQ2S vigil for Orlando victims in Toronto on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Actually, yes it can. And more importantly, it has to be.
The threat to unbelievers is from adherents to the Islamic faith. A quick read of the Koran and a proper examination of Islamic history as well as a listen to sermons by the most influential clerics will confirm this.
The clerics by the way, just preach from the Koran and refer to authoritative interpretations called “Tasfirs” which explain what the various verses mean, and surprise! The verses mean what the verses say.
So in fact we will fight “homophobia” only by addressing the ideology of hatred against homosexuals as well as the ideology of hatred and conquest against all of us.
Calling that honest analysis of Islam “Islamophobia” is an attempt to prevent honest examination through artful language. It requires bravery at this time to stand up to that kind of social pressure. But the social pressure that will result, and in some measure already exists from not standing up to it, will be orders of magnitude worse and will be about as easy to recover from as it is to build a church in Saudi Arabia.

Exactly who benefits by the kind of mistranslations and other artful terms used in the DOJ release?
Between selective enforcement of laws that shouldn’t exist in the first place, like “hate speech laws”, and the creation of language that is enforced for a government agenda, like “Islamophobia”, a lot of courage is needed just to speak truthfully about the existential threat that Islam was designed to be for the rest of us.
Radical Islam is as dangerous to a civilized nation as a Florida Coral Snake.. A coral snake will not “bite” per se, he grabs hold and chews and chews and chews until you’re dead. All Muslims are not as nasty as radicals but they dare not speak out against the bad guys because if they do, they, their families, including grandparents, children and grandchildren will be slaughtered..
So we have yet another religious war – a crusade if you will – the ones who prefer to be free against the ones who prefer to tell you what, how, when and where to believe and act and if you don’t do as they say, they just behead you or shoot you or do some other act of violence against you. To my mind, those who preach and practice Radical Islam are no better than vicious animals that not only need to be exterminated but deserve to be so destroyed. You can’t reason with them, you can’t even talk to them. They kill first and brag later.
