I don’t think the people of the West have a psychological need for an enemy- at least not a foreign state enemy. Any psychological needs for an enemy could just as easily be focused on climate change, inequality, unfair tranny bathrooms or other bullshit. I think Hillary uses Russia as a political distraction and Russia stands in the way of US hegemony. RT is less an instrument of propaganda than western media.
