OFF THE GRID

I would love to see Jesse run for president. He’s a breath of fresh air.

You said the same thing once about Christie. We all did.

Jesse is OK …. but he does believe in a lot of weird shit. Really.

Yeah, but the weird shit is being proven to be true more and more. Jesse was a great governor of MN……not if you’re a p.c. boomer/silent though, or just another run of the mill libtard (like1/2 or so of the folks in the peoples republic of MN).

Of course he is “crazy,” especially seeming so to the status quo.

The MSM and PTB managed to create a false storyline about Perot, whom then took it too far and actually let his crazy be shown. For years I blamed him. Knowing what I’ve now learned about our government/PTB’s methods over the years leads me to believe that he was a threat, he was intentionally set upon and forced toward implosion – as any of us would be if faced with similar circumstances, and he was intentionally misrepresented (Ron Paul anyone?) by the MSM leading us mushrooms and puppets to pull our growing support.

WE are all considered pretty crazy too. Don’t forget that.

We’ve all seen the look on our friends/families faces when we have hit them with some truth uncovered. Oh the person may chuckle, or nod and say, “mmm,” but most of us have seen the look enough to know what it means.

I like him a lot, he has balls to talk about the things (like the CIA visit after his inauguration) that the PTB have done their best to silence.

I’m sure that Franklin, Jefferson and a few others were considered batshit crazy at some point too.

As well as DaVinci, Galileo, and Jesus, to name but a few.

I’m beginning to both embrace my own inner crazy, and have grown to appreciate a well-placed crazy in others.

Christie was never “crazy,” a lying fatfuk sure, but didn’t come across “crazy.”

Which leads me to figure that if the MSM is trying to tell me someone that speaks against status quo is crazy, then his is a crazy I’d be well advised to check out.

Besides Stuck, you’re crazy too. One of the things I love about ya!

I’d vote for him if for no other reason than to have him give daily rations of shit to TPTB.

So what if Jesse believes some weird shit? I believe in some weird shit, too.

I’d vote for him.

Dude’s off the grid.. good for him. I’D love to be off the grid, too. He has the benefit of being mobile though… I don’t.

Paul, Perot, Ventura, etc, each preach personal freedom and personal responsibility from somewhat different directions, but that’s what use to make America great. All that is left now is a bunch of parastic FSA sheeple.

Jesse was a horrible governor. Here in the Land of 10,000 Taxes we are dominated by Dems. It was refreshing to listen to him talk. But that’s where it ended. He didn’t accomplish very much except he built the light rail – “The train to nowhere”.

Jesse basically said: I’ll take 1/3, the Dems take 1/3, and the Repubs take 1/3. Didn’t work with them, didn’t get anything done. Don’t be fooled.

If only Ross Perot would join us on TBP…..

I think he’d fit right in.

@Dutchman, can’t some of that be blamed on the fact he was a lone island amongst the well-entrenched sharks?

He couldn’t just issue Executive Directives like somebody else we know.

Until we start voting anti-establishment ON ALL levels, these lone independent thinkers are outmanned, outgunned and outspent.

Just sayin’

I had some experience as an ad agency working on Harry Browne’s campaign when he ran for Pres under the Libertarian party. The party had produced a pretty good 1/2 hr infomercial & I contacted the (then) 3 major networks to request a paid prime-time slot.
CBS and NBC both refused to answer my request. Only ABC actually offered a slot and price. I took the denial by the other networks to the FCC, and all I could get from their staff was something to the effect of “Browne isn’t a bona-fide candidate”.
When I pointed out to them the fact that the Libertarian party is the 3rd largest by number of members, AND the fact that Browne was on the ticket in ALL 50 STATES (which is a miracle in itself), they still wouldn’t provide a straight answer.
Carlin was right, the system is rigged, it’s a big club, and YOU AIN’T IN IT!
And as you guys may remember, Ross Perot quit the race due to threats to himself & his family:

Jesse Ventura: “For 20 years I’ve tried to warn the country about the Democrats and the Republicans.” The bozo sounds like my friend, Jackson, who, on this site, keeps saying that if one loves America and believes in its values, one should never vote Republican or Democrat.

Look around people. Type in Zimbabwe, Ukraine, Iraq, or Mexico, where Jesse lives in the winter, on the internet search line. Like what you see? Do you want to live like a third worlder too? Of course not. You want our military to protect you from Muslim terrorists and the Iranian nuclear threat, our police to protect you from criminals, our banks to provide a stable financial system, our free press to report the news honestly, freeways to carry you quickly to and from work and the seaside, and our government to ensure that our laws are equally and fairly enforced.

Elect Jesse or one of his kind as president and you’d roll back the clock 200 years or more. Electing the disenchanted and disaffected always leads to disaster. Under Jesse our protection from Communist, Chinese, and Muslim threats would be the militia. People would have to police themselves. Everyone would have to carry around a knapsack of metal coins to buy groceries and pay bills. There’d be no national press speaking for America and a tiny central government couldn’t take care of you TBP readers and others whose birthright is cradle to the grave cosseting.

If you want things to stay as they are, good and comfortable for you, keep voting Democrat or Republican. Tell RP, JV, J, and all those fringe fanatics to go f— themselves. Oh, and tell the well meaning but befuddled JQ that the only fresh air he needs is when he walks between job or home and car or has to get out in the invigorating night air to change a tire.

I live in Minnesota. Jesse ran for governor because he was pissed off that he had to pay higher license fees for his Jag then less expensive cars. He got that law changed so that we had a flat license fee of $100.00 for every car.

Also he gave back the sales tax surplus that Minnesota had at the time. I think it was $600 per family for 2 years

Now license fees on a new car are back up to $485. on my 2013 Explorer and there has not been a tax refund since.

I am 60 years old and he is the only politician in this state who has ever done anything to help the middle class.

PS not really sure if his car was a jag or a porsche
