Let’s see a sequel to 2001. The original was a great movie; maybe the sequel will be better.

How soon we forget. Doesn’t anybody out there remember 2010, the follow-on (sequel is too good a term) to 2001.

I do. It sucked. It destroyed my interpretation of the original film, not to mention that it hit the audience over the head with he meaning, rather than let it interpret it for themselves.
