I think that’s hilarious!

“Rescue Vehicle” painted on the front of an armored personnel carrier… surprising they didn’t paint “We’re Here to HELP!” on it as well…

You can paint your little tank all you want – make it look like a Mr. Frostee ice cream truck for all I care – it don’t change what it is. Ain’t nobody buying that shit…

Duuuuude… like, we’re here to help you…. never mind the cannon…

Take a lesson Uncle Sam failed to learn from Vietnam. In the buildup to our portion of the IndoChina War, the US armed the South Vietnamese army and various local militias and government forces with new US weapons. A few analysts and leaders tried to warn them it was a bad idea, but they went ahead with it, anyway. The VC quickly learned they could attack, intimidate, or just bribe the militia forces, who were mainly there to show the flag, not to fight a stand-up battle, and acquire new weapons to replace their hodge-podge collection of antiques and zip guns. I think it was by 1962 or 1963, we had completely re-armed the VC with updated guns, including M1 Carbines, M1 Garands, M1919s, grenades, mortars, recoilless rifles, etc, which were then used against us when we arrived in force.

Sound familiar?

I don’t know if anyone anywhere intentionally thought frapping arms and armor and tanks out to the lowest level was a great way to cause widespread chaos, but that will probably be the end result.

With light tanks and APCs, machine guns, assault rifles, grenades, body armor, drones, rockets, etc all sitting in police stations, campus police stations, sheriff’s departments, state police barracks, and other agencies’ offices, vehicles, parking lots, and warehouses, the nation is FILLED with military equipment just waiting to be used. Anyone remember what happened in Albania when they collapsed? EVERYONE had an AK or RPG or PKMG of their very own. Would we be any different? That stuff is going to be priority #1 for bad guys and good guys and others.

If/When the US goes Full Retard, expect to see this stuff used against civilians, then against the cops, then against the national guard, then against the regular army, then maybe sold on the international market to terrorists, rebels, and whomever else. We could make post-USSR Russia look like Disneyland by comparison. “Hey, Meester? Wanna buy an F16? 5000 Yuan! Want an attack sub? 100000 Yuan! Interested in a Conex packed with 10,000 M16s? 1000 Yuan! We got some AT-4s and Javelins, too…”

I won’t claim this is true, but if you DID want to create mass chaos for your own benefit, letting the citizenry gain access to all this stuff during a period of wide-spread chaos might be just the ticket to support calling in the military and declaring Martial Law. After all, what good are the cops, sheriffs, and state cops if the rioting locals have seized their own armor, assault rifles, and crew served weapons?
