@Rife, those “rich” owners are mainly in hock to their eyeballs and health care alone would take more cash than they profit in most years. BEFORE the pay hike.

And, as usual, the point is totally missed, it isn’t just the “evil, rich” business owners (and their local tax revenue, as most cities will quickly find out), that will be charbroiled

It is EVERYONE of us that have worked, or gone in debt, or sacrificed, or was gifted, the education and/or skills to pull themselves above the minimum wage mark.

Unless we are government connected/promised, we have already seen our wages stagnant and/or shrink.

Watching our standard of living being decimated, one good intention and hatred/envy of the productive, at a time.

The very best part is that soon it ain’t going to matter anyway. Think we will still be swinging through McDs, or the local diner, when our bank shuts down our access to our accounts for a 30 day holiday?

Neither do I. Distract, divide, inspire envy. Works every freaking time.
