“Hillary Clinton said Friday that mandatory gun buy-back programs like ones in Australia are ‘worth looking into,’ sparking criticism that the Democratic presidential front-runner would, if elected, impose gun-confiscation efforts.”

Clinton Considers Mandatory Gun “Buy-Backs” – Ignites Confiscation Concerns Zero Hedge 10/18/2015 http://www.zerohedge.com/print/515101

From Rense.com – A Little Gun History Lesson:

“Gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results:

“Australia-wide, homicides went up 3.2 percent

“Australia-wide, assaults went up 8.6 percent

“Australia-wide, armed robberies went up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)

“In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns.

“While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady DECREASE in armed robbery with firearms, that changed drastically upward in the first year after gun confiscation…since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

“There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.”

More from the same article:

“In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. This doesn’t include the 30 million ‘Uncle Joe’ starved to death in the Ukraine.

“In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

“Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, leaving a populace unable to defend itself against the Gestapo and SS. Hundreds of thousands died as a result.

“China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.”

So put a sock in it, Hillary.

It’s a sad day when a government becomes hostile to its citizens.

But that is what has happened here, the government is openly hostile to the majority of the population and their right to live their lives as they see fit and is openly proposing and even taking action against them.

It’s no wonder they want to make gun confiscation a top priority as they increasingly do this.

The question is: Are they willing to pay the price they will have to pay to be successful at it?

Be careful here with your comments. Why? There’s not a Republican in the race calling for gun buyback’s, only Democrats. Could a republican ever be nominated with a gun control platform? Not in 1 million fucking years. Could a democrat be nominated with that gun control platform? Absolutely that’s why Hillary shot her mouth off. Now all you “there’s no difference in the two parties” Feel Free to chime in and tell me the Republicans are just as likely to take my guns as the Democrats.
If you have one Brain Cell in your head that’s enough reason to go to the polls and vote Republican.
Having won this debate on TBP more than once I know the pattern. The is no difference in the two parties crowd, will go silent and not respond to this argument. That huge difference between the two parties as he is there’s a huge difference between the people voting for the two parties. An absolute definitive, unshakable, without a doubt, conclusion has been drawn. The Republicans and the Democrats are two very different political parties.

When the progressive s disarm the public, I think the following will happen. Street thugs will terrorize the population in general with the covert help of the government. They will contractors to the fascists and dispense mafia justice to those who oppose the government. The government will impose draconian laws and programs to make the country safe. Some criminal organizations will be very hard to bring to justice ( because they are useful for clean hands political enforcement)

Unarmed public will be completely enslaved and the politicians have plausible deniability.

I was at a friend’s fathers funeral Wednesday . I hadn’t spoke to him a a number of years and hadn’t seen his brother and sisters in a long while as well . We started talking afterwards about guns etc;between them, my brother and myself we had over 100 weapons .My friends youngest sister is a competitive 3 gun shooter who is a world class shooter. She’s deadly with a pistol and a high powered rifle .

I think if they try to take them it’ll be an epic 4th turning .

BUCKHED,

Having a hundred weapons means nothing unless you also have a hundred people willing to use them.

And even then only if they know how, when and where to use them to the best effect.

Koresh could probably explain this, at least if he were still around to do so since he apparently didn’t at the time.

Koresh and his crowd were murdered by the government. Period. Case closed. The .gov sent an army against those poor people, including tanks and helicopters. Why did the .gov kill them? I don’t know, maybe to make an example for the militias, maybe they did it just because they could. It doesn’t matter now because the feds got away with it.

Just remember this part: When the BATF killers came charging towards the house, guns blazing, they had their fucking asses handed to them. All those big tough guys in their black combat costumes got the shit shot out of them and they ran away like the yellow bellied cowards that they are.

The fed muppets are used to 50 to 1 odds in their favor, with the element of surprise and expecting no resistance. That day was one time when they got the surprise of their lives. And it was done by a bunch of untrained men, women and old timers, with an assortment of non-automatic rifles.

LMFAO

The Koresh group / Davidians didn’t actually fight very hard. If they had been ruthless and half-skilled they could have wiped out the entire BATFE attack group with relatively minor losses. The BATFE raid was unbelievably stupid, among the worst tactics ever.

There’s no real doubt that the government murdered the Davidians for some reason, probably because each passing day was a political embarrassment to the new administration.

As for this: “Vote Republican so you can keep your guns”

I propose:

Vote Republican! Keep your guns and religion, lose everything else.

Vote Democrat! Keep your smug moronic pride, lose everything else.

Snick, Republican run States and cities are in much better Shape than Dimocrart run states and cities! How could anyone make the argument to vote Dimocrat? Voting Dimocrat is not logical! How’s California and Illinois doing? How about Detroit, Gary Indiana and Chicago ? All Dimocratic Strongolds, each and everyone. Anyplace Dimocrats are in charge collapse and degradation are just around the corner.

@Sensetti, if you have a 1st grade level of reading comprehension, you could see that I am not recommending anyone to vote democrat.

Republicans are practically a different party at the state and local level vs. the national level. Many of the state and local Repubs are decent. Not perfect, but OK. Hardly any of the national level ones are worth anything.

Education is our answer. Those who would enslave us need to be educated to the benefits of freedom. Freedom lovers have a responsibility to teach them. The usual education system won’t do the job. Each one must teach one.

Snick – Conservative minded people are shaking the very foundations of the GOP. John Boner got his ass handed to him, Kevin McCarthy withdrew his name from the running, Donald Trump and Ben Carson have over 50 % of Republican support. That my friend is how change happens not by throwing your hands in the air and declaring defeat, or by piping that tired ballad I’m not participating in my future governance. Change happens when people stand and fight, I encourage each of you, jump in this movement, make a difference where you live!

@MHarvill: because so far the dictator class has been really good at boiling the frog slowly, and done slowly enough people won’t react. Lately some of them seem to be getting stupid and in a hurry, or maybe they just can’t go any farther without being really obvious. There are red lines that if crossed quickly will result in a severe backlash. The question is whether that backlash will be avoided if crossed slowly enough.
