A simple example that how you treat the police is how they treat you.
Something I’ve found true for the my whole and rather long life.
Ditto.
But the Lefties will either ignore this or call this guy an Uncle Tom.
Cannot. Disrupt. The. Narrative.
He spoke their language. He had them at “7TS ALS holster”.
Good on you, Mr. H! And good on the Tucson cops as well!
He’s right, of course, but the problem with police often arises when you draw a ‘roided-up wanker would-be “alpha male” (or female version thereof) who wants to make you squeal like a pig no matter how polite you are. Icon’s comment is likely correct: Mr. H is a vet, a gentleman, a military guy who knows his way around the barn. Everyone behaved correctly and wouldn’t it be fine if it was always that way! Unfortunately, it’s not, and I speak from experience, and when I had the experience, I was a middle-aged white guy with a ten year old riding shotgun and was threatened by a patent-leather-booted, buzz-cut storm trooper wanna-be who backed off only when he decided I just might be a lawyer and could present a problem down the road, which I did, and I’m not a lawyer. Beat his bogus ticket in court though, did it pro se and he had to apologize. I framed the decision.
“Police officers are people too”: Sometimes, but not often enough.
One thing overlooked here is that the officer was ALONE. Cops tend to become copfuks only when in groups and the group psychology takes over. Then they are as prone to violence as the worst actor of the group.
Hey, DRUD
I answered your “Nation States” question in the Fuhrer thread.
WTF Star! TBP is reserved for Cop Fuck articles..
overthecliff
Please use spell-check. It’s COPFUK.
Sure we can trust the cops, from New Jersey:

Amazing the poor guy didn’t get killed.
Bob.
Yeah, Stuck, i saw…I even began to rebut, but ran out of steam. You are right for the most part…the only question is how much of those things depend on our point-of-view of having lived with the Nation State paradigm for our entire lives? Fuck if I know…
I just like to always question even our most basic assumptions.
Just because ONE incident went down this way does NOT mean that ALL do.
As a National Guard member, that very well MAY have come up when the cops ran his tags/plates, OR he might have had stickers on his car indicating that very thing.
I applaud the cops for doing their jobs the way they are supposed to.
It in no way excuses when they decide to escalate a situation with violence. Violence begets MORE and greater violence, nearly ALL the time.
Try yelling at some clerk at the grocery store to see this human behavior in action for yourself.
I do believe it was Tuscon cops that anally raped a guy, over and over, because they just KNEW he had drugs on him. Which he did not.
Did the cops that did this pay? No. Did the taxpayers pay for both the cops, their pensions AND the lawsuits? You betcha.
Just because women bleed every month does not mean that if a man bleeds he become a woman.
Or does it?
“I applaud the cops for doing their jobs the way they are supposed to”
Yes , because everyone should be pulled out of their cars and searched for a burnt out headlight.
Fucking sheep.
The cops in AZ have a different attitude about guns than the commie states back east. Gun laws are a lot different here.
If this selfie picture is accurate, that is hardly a hoodie. This man is clean shaven, in decent shape, and doesn’t look like a hood rat, most people are not going to be wary of him. Being polite off the start sealed the deal.
The problem with the police is that they come from the same body of the population as the rest of us.
We get what we are I suspect.
Nice to read articles like this though. I deal with cops every day. Most are good guys. A few should’t have guns or a badge and are a waste of human skin. I think that sums humanity up as a whole mind you….
@ Te here in the south I grew up hunting. I have the utmost respect for anything that can bleed for 5 days and not die !
I know , im digging a hole lol but I couldn’t help it )))))))))))
Im glad this went well for the guy, and Im glad the cops acted like normal human beings, but look at this guy. He is clean cut and neat looking, and as the poster above said, not what you think of when you hear “black guy in a hoodie”. Yes, maybe Im letting my bias show here, but whatever, fuck off, its right most of the time. Im pretty sure there have been a few stories about some pretty fucked up shit being done by the TPB. Also, he had a military ID. You have one of those, you can get away wih quite a bit, as long as you are polite. I know that was the case a few years ago, anyway. I can’t tell you how many times I got stopped doing 85-90 on the interstate.
“know why I stopped you?” “yes sir, I was speeding. Sorry about that” “I don’t like writing you guys tickets, but you have to obey the posted speed limit. slow down. I see you driving like that again, Im writing you Up” “no problem sir, won’t happen again” 10 minutes later, cruise control back at 85-90. Once you get away with it 4 or 5 times, it stands to reason(or at least it did for me, I was young and stupid) that you will continue to.
That, or something similar, played out pretty much exactly like that, at least 20+ times. How many people have shot cops while being in the military? I havent heard of any. they see that ID, they relax.
Another point that should be made – even if you are dealing with a typical copfuk type who typically would try to escalate things, they see that ID they will back off, especially with a black guy, just because they don’t want to be on the news. Well dressed, clean cut black guy with a military ID makes a much better and more credible witness, both in actual court and the ‘court of public opinion’ than your typical “Dindu Nuffin” that usually is at the receiving end of such things.
DRUD says: One thing overlooked here is that the officer was ALONE.
He mentions the second officer and a lead officer.
Donut chasers say they are now thinking of the nightly news and whether they will be out of a job in the morning. Otherwise, this is the big whoppa, the one that got away.
