I was in an ornery mood because today we get hit with Epic Wind Storm v2.0 after several days of Biblical rain. Winds are expected to top 60mph so a few more days sans mains power are in the offing! My moron neighbor is prepared though. He added a second rope to the big ass blue spruce tree already leaning at 35+ degrees into my power line and threatening to rip the mast head off my house. It’s also going to take out my fence and a neighbors garage. I wouldn’t trust the tiny rope he’s using to support me let alone to prevent a 30′ tree damaged in the storm two weeks ago from being blown over in the wind.
He inherited the place from his mother-in-law and I’d bet $100 he has no insurance since she owned the place free and clear. My guess is he’s too broke to have it cut down and I’m pretty certain he lacks the mental horsepower to do it himself.
Anywho, this gun story put me in a great mood and now it’s time for bed!

I have heard from several friends that they were thinking about buying a gun. These are reliably Boston bred liberal diehards. The winds of change are blowing. I do not pretend to know what they will bring, but I believe, as Admin has posted, changes like we have never seen in our lifetime.
