Not sure what prompted that ill-conceived comment by Dutchman to Stephanie Shepard, but I’ll write it off to a major brain fart.
When Stephanie first appeared on TBP, her screen name was Calamity Jane. She got the Calamity part right. Easily one of the biggest and nastiest shitfests in TBP history, and she was in the center of the storm and the recipient of some very explicit sexual insults and abusive language. It went on for weeks, but she gave as good as she got and could be quite potty-mouthed about it. Eventually, her critics backed off, and so did she.
I know of no long-term regular here, male or female, who went through what she did. Well, maybe I did. That fuckstick flash once called me a booger-eating spook. Can you imagine the pain that caused me? Heh.

I have owned a couple different businesses. My last one was a small gas pipeline construction company. I averaged 45 employees year round at times twice that many. I sold that 7 day a week headache and put back a nice sum. Went on an extended vacation and went back to school. At this time I’m looking to start another business and investing in Oil stocks. It’s eating up my time so I’m posting less. No shit people, oil is going to mark in the 20 dollar range, biggest buying opportunity in years, but where? At the wellhead, midstream, downstream, service? Hell I don’t know yet but I want in. I have some money but I’m not rich, in other words I need to win, won’t gamble my nest egg unless I’m comfortable with the odds.
I’m totally shocked Westcoaster has a business. I pegged him for a Medicaid Welfare recipient. Hell dude I might could use your service’s. I pay hookers to suck my dick I don’t see any difference paying a liberal to drive traffic to my website. Yes, I have a website, yes it makes money. No I won’t give it away here. And, for the most part, during my time in the pond with the “big dogs” here (am not afraid of big dogs, having two Great Pyrenese myself and friends with Mastiffs) it is true that the insults usually fade as the people come to realize that they really aren’t fucking funny. I have mistakenly assumed that sarcasm here was mean and also, have mistakenly assumed that vitriol was sarcasm. I’ve waded through.
However, if Left a Comment is still lurking, I do want you to know I was NOT aiming that lameass comment at YOU and I hope you return to posting comments. One of the things I’ve come to admire about this platform that is on fire, is that in spite of the attempts by some to be gatekeepers and others to be hall monitors, there is only one way to be silenced here and that is to piss of Admin and refuse to back off from your idiocy. And in doing so, it rallies the TBP faithful SFMs like no other cause. Right old Finnegan’s Wake?

I had my own editing business for a couple of years that worked out well. The spare bedroom became my office, giving us a tax write off for a portion of the square footage of the room. While I was still around the college at OU, I had plenty of work helping rich kids with their term papers and professors with their books and projects. However, once I started working for the big gubment contractors, I was no longer in contact with anyone who cared whether their writing made sense or was correctly spelled.
