VERSAILLES, Ky. (Dec. 7, 2015) – Police in Kentucky arrested an Indianapolis man accused of stabbing a 6-year-old boy to death during a Monday morning home burglary.
Authorities in Versailles, Ky., were called to a home on Douglas Avenue around 4 a.m. A homeowner contacted 911 dispatchers to report an armed intruder inside the home.
According to court documents, the intruder, later identified as Ronald Exantus, 32, wandered around the home before walking up the stairs and stabbing a sleeping 6-year-old boy several times in the head “with a large kitchen knife that he obtained in the house.”
The boy was identified as Logan Tipton, a student at Simmons Elementary in Versailles.
Court documents show that Logan’s 11-year-old sister woke up, saw Exantus in the bedroom, and started screaming and trying to fight him.
Their father rushed to the bedroom and detained Exantus until police arrived.
The police report says Exantus confessed to stabbing the boy during an interview with detectives.
Exantus was taken to the Woodford County Detention Center on charges of murder and burglary.
Logan loved to play football with his friends, and he joined the Woodford Youth Football League this year. The league shared these photos of Logan with the caption, “Rest in Peace baby Logan, we will miss you. You were small but you were fierce.”

We should praise the father for detaining Exantus rather than killing him. Killing such an intruder sends the wrong message to society- a message of intolerance for our multi-cultural heritage. Indeed, Exantus was probably driven to rage by the recent media attacks on Planned Parenthood, and by the evil of global warming. Indeed, it is likely that the attack was motivated by some micro-aggression uttered by the victim, or by the boy’s failure to fully account for his white privilege. Connecticut Governor To Sign Executive Order Banning Gun Sales To Americans On “Watchlists” –

Gov. Dannel Malloy plans to sign the first executive order in the nation to ban the sales of guns to people on government watch lists.
As NBC Connecticut reports,
“We intend to prevent, by executive order through my powers as governor, those on government watch lists from obtaining a permit to purchase a firearm in Conecticut,” Malloy said.
Anyone who wishes to get a gun in Connecticut must first apply for a permit from a public safety agency, then a thorough background check is conducted, Malloy said.
“The executive order would add an additional level of protection and require those who apply for a permit to be screened against government watch lists,” Malloy said during a news conferenence on Thursday afternoon.
Assault weapons are already banned in Connecticut and this executive order would prevent anyone on a government watch list from buying a handgun, shotgun, rifle or ammunition in the state.
“I have been in touch with the White House directly on this matter and we are working with federal authorities to gain access to their lists for this purpose,” Malloy said.
He said his administratiion is working with the federal government to determine the appropriate lists to be included — from the no-fly list to a combination of those who should not have weapons.
“If approved, we will sign an executive order. We will take action. Like all Americans, I’ve been horrified by the recent terrorist attacks in California and Paris. This should be a wakeup call for all of us. This is a moment to seize here in America, and today, I am here to say in Connecticut, we are seizing this moment,” Malloy said.
“Yeah, before I go rape and invade homes, I always go through the legal process and clear all the watch lists first, because I don’t want to break any laws.”

I live in a neighborhood with a zero crime rate and I still personally check all doors and windows before going to bed. A New Orleans man raped a couple at gunpoint the day after he tried to kill a Tulane University medical student who broke up a kidnapping, police said Wednesday.
Police said Euric Cain, 21, jumped into the couple’s car around 3 a.m. Nov. 21 then raped the woman and forced the man to perform oral sex on him, The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported. Afterwards, he ordered them out of the car and drove away, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
