Exactly what I thought. Neither my wife nor I would have let our 8 year old daughter/son dress up like a cheap hooker, nor would we allow her to use a ridiculous amount of makeup if any. Part of parenting is about setting boundaries and reasonable expectations. When seeing how outrageous you let your children can be is the game we allow them to play, can anyone say playing one divorced parent against the other, it becomes a zero sum game. The child and eventually the family always loses in the end. I never understand how people can see this as good for their children and their family.
The question I have is if an 8 year old had been home schooled and had parent limited access to the television and the internet would this have ever happened.

BTW my 19 soon to be 20 year old daughter uses less than 1/10 that amount of makeup and her mother used to work in the makeup/fragrance department at Jordan Marsh. Yes I know I am dating myself, but that is where I met my wife of 25 years.

I have never known young males to hold grudges even after bloody fights. To change that wonderful process and try to turn boys into girls is totally fucked up.
And it is going to end poorly.
I have a young daughter and son, and cannot imagine letting a little girl that age get dressed up with makeup like that at that age, much less my son. I feel really bad for that kid.
