Sickening! No other way to describe it. Some days I feel like I should just do out … borrow all the money I can … buy that benz … take three trips a year (like almost everyone else) and plug myself back into the Matrix. Its probably going to take us all down anyways. And then the conscience kicks in … darn it!

Justin Trudeau is a clueless twit who only wanted to be prime minister because his daddy was.

Fidel Castro is one of the truly great men of the 20th century – he led a grass-roots campaign on a shoe string that defeated a fascist U.S – backed regime (aren’t they all?) just 50 miles from the US homeland and survived and prevailed despite every dirty trick and illegal act the US could throw at him.
I just hope he lives long enough to see America complete it’s downward trajectory to failed-state status so he can have the last laugh.

So what your saying is that the best system of government is the one that supplies the least expensive TV to the masses?

I take it I dont need to point out that the 1959 TV was made in america with American resources by decently-paid American workers. It was designed to be repairable and give many years of service.
Now the TVs are made overseas in the country that is most willing to fuck it’s workers and the environment and shipped to the US where during it’s 3 year lifespan it will serve as the primary conduit of further dumbing down the lobotomized zombies you call your citizens.

I have a feeling Canada may be facing a hardcore cultural collapse in the foreseeable future.

Maybe we should start giving some support to fortifying our northern borders in advance of it.

Cdubbya, are you serious? Castro was a brutal dictator, a character of the lowest kind, who turned Cuba into a living nightmare. But don’t take my word for it. From the book “from the gulag to the killing fields”, regarding political prisoners:

“There was…an unfortunate father…who had been sentenced to 5 years because they had killed one of their cows to feed the family.”

“He was placed in a water tank and given electroshocks…and large doses of psychotropic drugs.”

“Blindfolded with a black hood over his head and bound by rope tied tightly around his neck, he was beaten and kicked until he lost consciousness. ”

Sounds like a fucking paradise. How about this?

“There were nights when there would be 10 or 12 executions.”

“Filth, cockroaches, and rats continually appeared in the food…the sacks of sugar…was waste sugar, swept up off factory floors…it was meant to be used as cattle feed.”

“We had to use our fingers as toilet paper.”

“The boys had been caught writing anti-government graffiti…before the day was over all the boys were systematically gang-raped by more than 30 patients in the ward…I can still hear their cries for help and see their bloody bodies…”

Do you want me to go on? Some fucking great man Castro was. Take a fucking hike asshole.

Castro was a two-bit Mao wannabe who ruined the lives of millions of people. I hope there is a Hell, because Castro belongs in the lowest, most painful circle!

From john stormer’s book, “none dare call it treason”:

Castro’s “rise to power was largely the work of the US state department.”

The senate study continued:

“Wieland (head of the Caribbean desk at the state department) is considered author of the fatal arms embargo which cut off munitions shipments to the anti-communist Batista while Castro was being liberally supplied by sources in Florida and by Russian submarines…similar state department action ten years earlier had crippled Chiang kai-shek’s army and permitted the communists to come to power in china.”

Cdumbass sounds like dean rusk who “after Chinese communists had murdered millions, speaking at the university of Pennsylvania , compared Mao tse-tung to george Washington.”

You’re not suggesting that the USA is a right wing nation are you? That’s why we opposed hitler and the axis powers, right? That’s why we armed and supplied the soviets right? That’s why today, the leading democrat contenders are Hillary Clinton, who wrote her senior thesis on the communist Saul Alinsky (who devoted his book, “rules for radicals”, to lucifer incidentally), and Bernie sanders, a communist Jew, right?

Who are you and what is your message? Why are you posting?

Cdubbya is obviously a Marxist brain-dead twit. Castro a “truly great man?” Yeah, look at Cuba today under this fucking moronic, Marxist, truly great man. Why don’t you pull up stakes and move there asshole? I’m certain he’d take your ass in. Cuba is such a thriving Marxist utopia where everyone is equal and everyone is happy, as long as they keep their mouths shut and be good little lumpenpropletariats. While you’re at it, why don’t you give Che a good verbal dick sucking too since he was Castro’s judge, jury and executioner? Move your Marxist ass down there. Better yet, North Korea’s Kim could use an assclown like you.

“Another picture worth a thousand words. Castro’s beautiful Havana paradise, with people still driving cars from the 1950s – because they were made so well. Right?”

No. They’re just into classics.

Yeah Eh duh, but at least Justin Trudeau wasn’t a bastard son born in Kenya of an inter-racial Communist whore and educated in Indonesia as an American Hating Muslim…

Hey Archie,

Calm down already, you’ll give yourself an aneurism.

To reply:

1. not everything you read in a book is true because it’s in a book.

2. Yes, Mao was a psychotic mass murderer, arguably the biggest of all time.

3. Castro became disillusioned with the communism of Mao and Stalin and tried to develop a Latin American version of socialism.

4. I have been to Cuba several times as a tourist and volunteer. Cuba is not a utopia but it is vastly superior to the other US-dominated shit-holes that pepper the Caribbean.

5. I dont know what your idea of a “right wing nation” is but America today is probably best described as proto-fascist in that state and corporate power are progressively more tightly interlinked

6. The US only got involved in defeating Hitler after the USSR had done most of the heavy lifting to defeat the Wermacht.

7. What Hillary, or anybody, studied in university has little to do with their behaviour when they are older. She is just another business-as-usual twat from the oligarchy that is fucking America. Bernie looks like he is for real and unlike 98% of US politicians is not owned by the corporations but unfortunately America is too far gone to embrace his leadership and salvage a future worth living.

8. I am a tradesman and a firefighter and a self-sufficient homesteader who experienced first hand the indoctrination of the Viet Nam era US educational system, plus 5 years of Boy Scouts of America. I have no patience or sympathy for simplistic cowards who blindly follow their flag and demonize anyone who has a different opinion.

9. I am posting because most of the people who write and respond on this website are probably decent people but are misguided into the easy trap of blaming other powerless people for the decline in America while allowing the true perpetrators to continue and I would like to set them straight, which of course is hopeless.

Barring that I would merely hope to trigger a heart attack in some hate-filled redneck in his smelly trailer in Nebraska.

I have had a few Cubans in my circle – two born there and one born of parents from Cuba – as well as a very bitter HS Spanish teacher back in the 70’s.

Without exception they have no good things to say about Castro. They were all from the upper classes – dare I say the 1%?

When I asked why so many of the people in Cuba were so ready to adopt the teachings of Marx and Castro they all got a bit flustered. Perhaps if Cuba had had a less Oligarchical society, in bed and supported by the Oligarchical class here in the States – the peasants might not have revolted.

And perhaps, as time goes on here in the land of the free and the home of the brave, and as the banks continue to “Kill the Host” some “Grey Champion” will come to the fore and the peasants will rise up and demand something as well.

I’m not saying Castro was good – I’m asking why the peasants were so unhappy.

Cdubbya,

If I were you I’d go light on the condescending comments and just hang out for a while. You’ll see a different picture of this place in short enough time.
