The fact that jobs are moving to Mexico to support the business model of Ford and the bloated benefits of the workers is tragic to say the least. Mexicans will toil with sub standard wages so that the TBTF and the parasitic unions can kick the can a little further down the road.

In medieval legend of Faust made a contract with the devil. Exchanging his soul for worldly gains. This is what I think is a perfect modern day Faustian example.

How sad. And how does this end?

@Rob: WTF is wrong with your little mind? Maybe you think US workers should work for $15/hr?

Let’s export all remaining mfg jobs to that shit hole country Mexico, that has supported a 30 year invasion by the illiterate, uneducated, illegal beaners.

Better worry Rob, this shit is going to come to your country too.

The reason Ford is building that plant in Meheeco is because they anticipate Trump will be the next POTUS.

And once Donald Trump is POTUS ….. this kind of thing will never EVER happen again. Guaranteed.

Look Dutchman.

My little mind is just pointing out what is happening. And don’t worry it is already here in Canada you fucking tool. The wages for the auto workers are outrageous. The stock buybacks and bonuses for the executives are outrageous. You don’t fucking like what I say tough. The reason why Ford is building cars in Mexico is because they can make them cheaper there. So that the people still working at Ford in the United States and Canada an continue doing what they are doing.

Just so that you can drive your fat ass around in an oversized vehicle and still have enough money to buy lunch at Macdonald’s. But the nice person taking your order is going to be soon out of a job. Why. Well because you are to cheap and lazy to pay.

The automated kiosks are here in the Toronto area already…I grabbed a coffee at my suburban McDonald’s this morning and the drive thru line was so long, I parked my oversized vehicle (which ironically is a 2016 Ford) and went inside. There were 2 brand new touch screen kiosks where you could place and pay for your order without the need to speak to a person…I thought how high does the minimum wage have to be before they install the automated food prep machines and they don’t need any unskilled labour anymore?

As an aside we bought the Ford after more than a decade of good cars from VW, (until the 2010 CC (worst VW ever!)) because Ford (apparently) didn’t get bailed out like GM and Chrysler, the car was made in the USA, had lots of head room and they offered a good trade along with $6000 off the sticker…I wouldn’t buy a VW from Mexico, nor would I consider any other car that was built in Mexico. I guess our next car will be a Toyota or Honda built in one our local car plants.

Ford went to Mexico because of red tape. Bribing politicians for favors is cheaper and less complicated there. I don’t know for sure but I suspect there is a big tax advantage to manufacturing in Mexico and selling in the USA as well.

Taxes, massive regulations, cost of labor + benefits and unions. What could possibly go wrong?

Just a snapshot of the lfie of the Bigger Picture, which has been put into action by both Dem’s and Rep’s for the UN Social Justice. If you would understand the statement by O. Edenhofer, C. Figueres, and our Holdren, you would know that it is purposely being done to de-develop the U.S.

Our jobs, our standard of living is to be reduced in order for developing countries to attain a higher standard of living.

Well without good paying jobs (Ford) – all you guy’s can pay a shit load more taxes to support all the permanently unemployed, under employed people.

Also, your children can grow up with little or no opportunities for a middle class existence.

Yeah, your solution is to live off grid in AZ or OR. See how far that gets you.

Since Ford didn’t get a taxpayer bailout, I find this much more offensive:
