Admin,
You really know how to cheer a guy up. Happy Patriot’s Day. No not the New England Patriots. The real patriots who started it all 241 years ago. I truly wonder what they would think of what their beloved country has come to after their hard fought victory.
Bob.
“I am astonished when I go around the country at the intensity of anger at the IRS,” said the speaker. “People are determined to get the IRS out of their life. They are furious at the IRS.”
“We say a tax code should go away,” suggested the House Majority Leader during an appearance before the Senate Finance Committee.
“We must tear the income tax code out of by its roots so it can never come back again,” thundered the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, the panel in charge of crafting tax policy.
And nearly 21 years after those remarks by then-House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga., then-House Majority Leader Dick Armey. R-Texas, and then-Ways and Means Committee Chairman Bill Archer, R-Texas, little has changed.
Meh.
We’re so furious that we’ll swill another beer and rant on the Internet.
We’re so in support of the tax code going away that the Senate has a 90%+ re-election rate, as does the House.
And then we allow crap-faces like Cruz to rant about a one-page tax return that fits on a postcard while failing to point out that The President doesn’t write legislation, and thus he can’t do a damn thing if he’s President.
Worse, if he meant it he could have written said legislation and demanded it pass in The Senate, putting a hold on every single bill and action to the best of his ability until it did.
But…. he didn’t.
The fundamental reality is that we, the people consent to the IRS just like we consent to 50,000 gun laws and regulations that all violate the Second Amendment (it’s quite clear and plain English), a medical system that violates the entirety of 15 USC daily yet nobody goes to prison, a banking system that has admitted fraud up and down the line with mortgages, stocks and various other activities over the years yet nobody has gone to prison and more.
We, the people not only consent to this nonsense, despite our ability to stop consenting via means peaceful or otherwise we vote for the people who claim they’re going to change it and then are proved to have lied — repeatedly, serially, and in fact continually.
That’s not only consent it’s endorsement.
So if you want to be one of those who claim to be “furious” you first must square these realities.
You haven’t, you won’t, and you know it.
So shut the **** up, America, because I’m tired of hearing the three-year old temper tantrum every tax day.

I just checked my mail about 10 minutes ago and WTF,, I just got a refund check from the UNITED STATES TREASURY.
OK so understand why that’s odd. I have my taxes done every year by a CPA and if by chance there is an overpayment for the tax year he just applies that to the prepayment schedule for the next tax year. I pay quarterly taxes for the coming tax year. For my 2015 taxes there was a small overpayment and that was applied to 2016 taxes, so I wasn’t expecting a check.
Anyway the check was for —- OK you ready for this—— one dollar!!!! And was for an overpayment from the tax year 2013. Are you serious, write a check for one lousy dollar, it cost more to write the check and mail it than the check is worth. And it isn’t worth my time to run down to the bank and deposit the damn thing. WTF

“President Obama and the first lady reported a combined income of $436,065 on their 2015 tax returns.
The Obamas paid $81,472 in taxes, for a federal tax rate of 18.7 percent, the White House reported Friday in its annual disclosure.”
This puts obama in the 0.02% worldwide wealth and well within the 1%er club, and only paid 18.7% in federal taxes?
Remember the shit Romney took in 2012 for his tax rate?

Sounds like Karl still thinks that they count the votes and the guy who gets the most is elected.
