PAPERS PLEASE!!!

My wife got in our little Honda Insight yesterday morning at 10:00 am to run some errands. As I’ve documented before, we live in a lily white suburb with virtually no crime. She turned onto one of the two lane country roads near our house and about three miles down the road what does she encounter? A State Police checkpoint pulling over every car traveling on that sleepy country road at 10:00 am on a Wednesday. WTF???

After being my wife for 25 years she may have developed a slight anti-state, anti-police slant. It was heavily reinforced by this experience. She was asked for her papers by the donut eating, government union drone, second responder, surveillance state representative. She annoyingly asked Mr. Hero why they were doing this to moms trying to get errands done on a sunny peaceful morning. He said it was a “safety check”.

What a load of smelly bullshit. Indiscriminately harassing innocent citizens who have violated no laws, for no good reason, is another example of the out of control government surveillance state. We are living in Orwell’s 1984 world. We are all guilty until proven innocent. This blatant example of intimidation is happening more and more. The police state is out of control. And the majority of the sheep just willingly allow themselves to be shepherded towards the slaughterhouse without a whimper in the name of safety and security.

More than half the population have no problem with the police conducting this type of offense. They believe the propaganda about safety. In reality, the purpose of this assault on our freedom is two pronged. The police state wants to invoke a healthy fear among the sheep through intimidation. Secondly, they want to find sheep who don’t have their papers in order so they can issue ridiculous financial penalties to fund their police state. I’m getting sick and tired of this shit. I’m voting for Trump in hopes this will trigger something that will burn this fucker down. Fuck this welfare/warfare surveillance state.

If I were a woman, I would get the cops name and badge number once the encounter was concluded. If the cop asks why, just say “safety check”. Then take that information and file a sexual harrassment complaint on him saying he did nothing but stare down my shirt like a pervert while the other officers just laughed.

So what are the cops supposed to do it there is no crime to be dealing with?

Maybe you just have too many cops with nothing else to do.

So what this “safety check” to smell the breath on everyone driving to see who might not have spent enough time sleeping off the prior nights libations? I read recently that a significant percentage of DUI arrests are in the morning. I’ve never been a fan of copfucks and their entrapment methods. I also think it’s insane to put out a blanket 0.08 BAC and say “anyone” over that is impaired. Shit, these days I’m more nervous about the texting teen driver than the drunk.

“He said it was a “safety check”.”

So you draw your Glock, show the idiot “No safety, see!” and go on your merry way.

Works best if you have a chase car of carbine-armed bodyguards.

They are the most menacing gang of thugs in the US since what they are engaged in is illegal. There is no court, lawyer, or judge that can make me believe that this means something other than what it says…

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

So when these pricks ask to search your car and you tell them no, they will tell you they will hold you until they get a warrant. Of course the warrant would be illegal because there will be no oath or affirmation describing what is to be seized. The words above are meant to prohibit general warrants.

Only a criminal would engage in such activity and only a fool would approve of it.

I wonder how many innocent citizens had their anus and/or vagina forcefully dredged by the POS State Pigs looking for contraband, on that sunny peaceful day. What absolutely amazes and disgusts me about amerikan copfuks is they look/try so hard to bust anyone for any reason they can. Everybody is guilty of something. If they can’t find anything they still try to escalate matters with their bullying, unprofessional attitudes. It is how they justify their over generous pay, pensions, perks, and overtime.
I’ve traveled all over this world, encountering local cops through minor traffic violations or just friendly chats, and amerikan cops are the absolute worst.
In the U.S. it is time to abolish ‘qualified immunity’ for cops, and hold them accountable for their abuse and disrespect towards the common citizens.
To see what kind of crap amerikan cops do take a look at policemisconduct.net from Cato Institute. The reports are only a small percentage cop antics that actually get reported to the news.

An awful lot of government union job funding has come from the federal government for the last number of years, in the form of various grants. You indeed end up with too many on the payroll, without a genuine workload. This will pass, fairly quickly in an administration dedicated to getting the economy centered on production.

Jim, take a close look at the whole Ferguson, Missouri situation. Forget the Michael Brown thing, but it uncovered an absolutely absurd and criminal situation. The hero class in that city preyed on the citizenry for their own benefit. I’ll have to get some facts and figures, but I’m pretty sure they wrote more tickets every year than Ferguson has residents. I’m no fan of Eric Holder, but he was right on that one, and should have disbanded that entire operation. How many more of those are out there?

I just got back from taking Soly the Wonder Pup to the vet for a checkup. On the way down there I went down a particularly busy arterial. I could see two emergency vehicles approaching (lights flashing/no sirens) from the other direction so I and everyone else pulled over as required clearing one lane each way so as not to impede them. I happened to be on the tail end of the bulk of the traffic and the second they got past me they both turned off their lights. Both vehicles were the red Chevy Suburban 4×4’s that the fire dept. is so fond of. Fucking assholes!

I’ve run into PA state police “safety check” 3 times in the same location in the past 2 months. Of course this is occurs at 5:00 in the afternoon on a week day.

There must be at least 8 cars and about 16 cops there each time.

If it is just a “safety check”, why not just look at my annual safety inspection sticker in the windshield?

The last road block I was about to encounter I noticed in time in time and turned around and detoured around it. Completely legal to do in PA. Others followed my lead when they saw me turn around to avoid it.

Ever notice that police unions are “fraternal”? This should tell you something. The “thin-blue-line” is a gang, little different than street gangs–at least when it comes to “covering-up” questionable behavior by police.
In today’s day and age, “officer safety” trumps de-escalation of force. This, in part, is due to the militarization of the police along with training in Israeli police tactics. This becomes a problem, with the “us vs. them” attitude that is fosters, along with the fact that Israel is a very different place, being on a constant “war footing”, and by necessity, its police tactics are very different.
There are too many instances of police being “given a pass”, even when incontrovertible video and audio evidence is presented. Grand juries, guided by police-friendly prosecutors, quite often refuse to charge those police officers who abuse their authority.
Police officers, who want to do the right thing, are quite often marginalized and put into harms way, by their own brethren…When a police officer is beating on someone that is already restrained while yelling, “stop resisting” THAT is but one reason police have a “bad name” in many instances…
Here are changes that can help reduce the police-induced violence:
1. Get rid of police unions. Police unions (fraternities) protect the guilty, and are responsible for the massive whitewashing of questionable police behavior that is presently being committed.
2. Eliminate both “absolute” and “qualified” immunity for all public officials. This includes, prosecutors and judges, police and firefighters, code enforcement and child protective services officials, and others who deal with the citizenry. The threat of being sued personally would encourage them to behave themselves. Require police officers to be “bonded” by an insurance company, with their own funds. No bond= no job.
3. Any public funds disbursed to citizens as a result of police misconduct should come out of police pension funds–NOT from the taxpayers.
4. Regular drug-testing of police officers as well as incident-based drug testing should take place whenever an officer is involved in a violent situation with a citizen–no exceptions.
5. Testing for steroid use should be a part of the drug testing program. You know damn well, many police officers “bulk up” with the “help” of steroids. Steroids also affect users mentally as well, making them more aggressive. The potential for abuse of citizens increases greatly with steroid use.
6. Internal affairs should only be used for disagreements between individual officers–NOT for investigations involving citizen abuse. State-level investigations should be mandatory for all suspected abuses involving citizens.
7. Prosecutors should be charged with malfeasance IF any evidence implicating police officer misconduct is not presented to the grand jury.
8. A national or state-by-state database of abusive individuals who should NEVER be allowed to perform police work should be established–a “blacklist” of abusive (former) police officers.
9. Most people are unaware that police have special “rules” that prohibit them from being questioned for 48 hours. This allows them to “get their stories straight” and makes it easier to “cover up” bad police behavior. Police must be subject to the same laws as civilians.
10. All police should be required to wear bodycams and utilize dashcams that cannot be turned off. Any police officers who causes a dash or body cam to be turned off should be summarily fired–no excuses. Today’s body and dash cams are reliable enough to withstand harsh treatment. Body and dashcam footage should be uploaded to a public channel “on the cloud” for public perusal.
11. All interrogations must be video and audio recorded. Police should be prohibited from lying or fabricating stories in order to get suspects to confess. False confessions ARE a problem in many departments. Unknown to most people, police can lie with impunity while civilians can be charged with lying to police…fair? I think not…
12. Any legislation passed that restricts the rights of ordinary citizens, such as firearms magazine capacity limits, types of weapons allowed, or restrictive concealed-carry laws should apply equally to police. No special exemptions to be given to police. Laws must be equally applied.
Police work is not inherently dangerous…there are many other professions that are much more dangerous.
A little “Andy Taylor” could go a long way in allaying fears that citizens have of police.
That being said, I have no problem with police officers who do their job in a fair, conscientious manner…however, it is time to call to task those police officers who only “protect and serve” themselves.

I can honestly say I am ready for the party to begin, so tired of ignorant Americans. Vote for the red team, no the blue team. Hey dumbass, they are the ones who helped cause the mess so voting for a new leader of either team is not going to change a thing for the better, just new players to get their piece of the loot. This has given me a great idea. I love nothing more than being passive/aggressive so if I’m ever in a “safety” inspection, I’m going to open my hood and demand that the officers check the oil and inspect the belts. Recently I was pulling up to a busy intersection in San Diego and the tragic was all backed up. Saw some police cars and wondered what was going on. As I got closer I saw that FIVE cop cars had pulled over to the side and when I got right to the scene…it was a grandmotherly looking grey haired woman of about 65 alone in a Honda Accord. Wtf? Really? She needed FIVE cop cars to manage her? Jesus talk about a police state!! Ridiculous. Following week I was driving through a border patrol check point in southern San Diego county coming back from a border town. As I slowed down for the line of cars being checked I noticed no less that FIFTEEN video cameras along the concrete pylons along the road all squarely facing me down and tracking me. It felt like such an intrusion! Now that I am awake to the state of affairs here l notice these things and they really disturb me. What the hell are we coming to here in the land of the “free”??!!

Julien, the BP are not the popo, they have had these checkpoints in San Clemente and at various points 100 miles inland from the border for eons. They have a purpose the Iska endorses, it is to check your legal status.

That the popo are now performing routine checks on drivers is mission creep that must be resisted by questioning their purpose and following up on it by calling the station to complain if the cop gets nasty.
