QUOTE OF THE DAY

Then he said to the crowd,
“Take care to guard against all greed,
for though one may be rich,
one’s life does not consist of their possessions.”

Then he told the gathering a parable.
“There was a rich man whose land produced a bountiful harvest.
He asked himself, ‘What shall I do,
for I do not have space to store my harvest?’
And he said, ‘This is what I shall do:
I shall tear down my barns and build larger ones.
There I shall store all my grain and other goods
and I shall say to myself, “Now as for you,
you have so many good things stored up for many years,
so have your ease, eat, drink, be merry!’

But God said to him,
‘You fool, this very night your life will be demanded of you;
and the things which you have hoarded, to whom will they belong?’
Thus will it be for all who store up treasures for themselves,
but are not rich in the things that matter to God.”

Luke 12:15-21

There is a way that seems right unto man, but is foolishness in the eyes of the Almighty……

So, if God doesn’t want us hoarding stuff, why did He make gold and silver so damn shiny?

Tell that to the people in Venezuela, I guess starving to death and watching your children starve to death is noble. Stores of food are common sense when psychopaths rule the world.
I read today that the animals in the Zoo are also starving to death in their cages, where is PITA and all the Hollywood crowd? Not a peep out of the usual suspects over this tragic mass murder of humans and animals. Sickening…

Bea

The passage clearly speaks against greed, not the sensible management of resources to sustain a productive life.

A shame about those animals starving to death.

The could be slaughtered and fed to hungry people instead.

Faith – False Assumptions In Thoelogical Hegemony.

Religion – The opiate of the masses.

Pope Douchenozzel – Don’t blame Mooslims for terrorism.

BeLIEve – Hope and Change

Lord – Formal title for beelzebub

christins are so warped, they actually worship the devil and god at the same time without realizing it. When you simpleton crustians wake up, if ever, you too will see with eyes wide open how fucktarded your faith in fake-believe bullshit relly sidetracks you from the real issues of the day not to mention getting YOUR life back for yourself.

Until you each have your own epiphany moment vis a vis religion, you’re still slaves to someone else and their fucked up mind warp games.

TG.

So which Christian free part of the world would you prefer to be in, and why are you here instead of there?

If you can’t understand it wouldn’t do any good to try to explain.

One of those teaching a pig to sing sort of things.

Babbling again moosie?

I said nothing about christian free living accomodations for me, hench my reply to your babbling. At least I have the courtesy to explain myself to you. You’re so mad that my opinion of and about religion is juxtaposed to yours that you can’t even THINK straight.

I have nothing against christians, joos, muzzies, hindus, catolics, jehovah’s witnesses, methodists, episcopals, new day adventists, lutherans, masons, satanists, wiccans, fill-in-the blank orthodox, scientologists, and especially southern baptists.

We’re all humans having a human experience. To each, his own.

I just want the unpossibly answerable question answered;

Which one is right and why?

Unpossible to answer correctly.

What is that you are you going to say, ‘my god is the real one so fuck you?!’

It amazes me that the awesome group of critical THINKERS in here have a trap mind when it comes to religion.
I want to provoke THOUGHT in you. If you only see blind rage instead of the possibility of the fact that you have been duped once again by the e lites, well then you have some work to do.

Ver. 21. So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, &c.] This is the accommodation of the parable. Just such a fool is he, and this will be the end or him, who employs all his thoughts, and spends all his time, in amassing to himself worldly riches and wealth, in laying up treasures on earth for himself, for futurity: and makes no use of his earthly substance to be the good of others; nor shows any concern for spiritual and eternal riches; but places all his hope, trust, and confidence, in uncertain riches:

and is not rich towards God; or “in God,” as the Syriac and Arabic versions read; in things pertaining to God, in spiritual things, in faith, and in good works; and is not concerned to lay up a treasure in heaven, to have an interest in durable riches and righteousness; whereas one that is rich towards God, acknowledges that he receives all his riches from God, as the Ethiopic version reads; he gives up all into the hands of God, depends upon his providence for the increase, security, and continuance of it; and uses it to his honour and glory, and for the good of his interest; and is chiefly concerned for the riches of grace and glory; and enjoys much of God, and places all his riches in him: such a man is a wise man, but the reverse of this is the fool in the parable.
