Yes, sir. You are speaking English, but the person you’re addressing seems unable to speak English so she probably doesn’t understand you.
That state department lackey with the deer-in-the-headlights look on her face exhibits perfectly the phony, made up, “Valley Girl” accent used by so many young American women. Once the user of this kind of fake accent loses her cool, she shrieks “OMIGOD-UH!!”.
Anyone here who has a teenaged daughter probably knows what I mean.
That would mean the election would be decided by those who did vote, no matter how many or how few.

What is the name of that reporter? He always sits there and waits and then pounces after the various State Dept spokespeople say something stupid. I want to know who he works for and what he actually says in his articles.
Drones. They’re not just for killing people.

I imagine she speaks Government.
While it’s a common dialect of English, many words used in Government do not have the same meaning as the same ones used in English.

Admin, I fantasize about a general protest where people chant – Hell No, We Won’t Vote!

EDIT: Matt Lee. He works for AP. link.
This is Obammy administration transparency!
That guy might be joining Seth soon. Did not know there were any reporters who hadn’t gotten the memo about leaving “it” alone.
I love that one line- “I cannot speak to the specifics” which loosely translated mean “I cannot answer any questions”.
That’s actually quite brilliant.
