I Held a General’s Rank

Guest Post by nkit

There is an old saying that the “Devil is in the details,” and regarding the so-called Syrian refugee crisis, and U.S. immigration in general, it is obvious that the Obama administration does not want to raise public awareness of the details of his immigration follies. Obama has single-handedly crafted his own immigration legislation eschewing both the Constitution and the Legislative branch of government. He has intentionally left our Southwestern border wide open while virtually handcuffing those in charge of policing and protecting our border.

He has usurped the power of the Southwestern states, as there is nothing in the Constitution that vests the Federal government with the power to police illegal immigration within the territory of a state. In essence, his administration has no Constitutional power over immigration enforcement. That power belongs to the individual states alone, and that power was upheld by the Judicial branch in an 1837 case, New York vs Miln that allowed the State of New York to expel those immigrants that it deemed likely to become a public burden.

In the case of Obama, it is simply a matter of “laws be damned,” as he will let nothing stand in the way of his Cultural Marxist preferences and ideology. Not only does he thumb his nose at the laws, but also at his own Oath of Office which requires him to faithfully execute the laws which have been passed by our Legislative branch. Unfortunately for him, if he adhered to his oath it would be he that would be handcuffed in his attempt to fundamentally transform the United States, and he has shown that as a man who believes that he is of wealth and taste among other attributes, he will not be bothered with trivialities such as Oaths and Constitutions.

Any reasonable and sentient human that is not blinded by an anti-American ideology understands that, regarding immigration, and the current state of affairs concerning radical Islam and the West, the idea of a temporary moratorium on Muslim immigration is both an astute and cautious decision. When discussing the prospect of such a moratorium, Obama claims that “that is not who we are.” To the contrary Mr. Obama, if you are having moments of doubt and pain then I assure you that that is precisely who we are as there is both precedent, (thanks to Jimmy Carter as pertains to Iranians during the Iranian hostage crisis), as well as legal authority to boot. Under Federal law the Executive branch is “expressly required to take religion into account” in determining who is granted asylum as per Section 1158 of Title 8, U.S. Code.

Further, under Section 1101 (a)(42)(A) “the applicant must establish that race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion was or will be one central reason for persecuting the applicant.” The same section of U.S. Code requires the Executive branch to take into account the alien’s religion. “The term refugee means (A) any person who is outside any country of such person’s nationality…who is unable or unwilling to return to…. that country because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of….religion (among other things).” The granting of asylum is meant to address persecution, and is not meant to be a tool for fundamentally transforming a nation, its demographics and its culture by a would-be dictator.

None of these refugees has an Allah-given right to immigrate to the U.S., and because they may be coming from a country ravaged by war does not, by itself, make them a candidate for asylum. So, indeed, not only is there nothing unconstitutional about a religious test, as in fact it is instrumental in the granting of asylum, but it is also “very American and it is exactly who we are.”

Not only does Obama continue to bring these alleged refugees into the country with a goal of 10,000 refugees by the end of the year (a goal that he is well on his way to attaining), but he seemingly must have his own personal religious test as less than one percent of them are Christians with the rest being Muslims, but perhaps that is merely a coincidence. Perhaps. The number of Syrian refugees that Obama is bringing in pales in comparison to the thousands and thousands that are flooding across our Southwestern border.

U.S. South Command (Southcom) Army Col. Lisa A. Garcia estimates that in 2015 “we saw a total of 331,000 immigrants enter the Southern border. We estimate more than 30,000 of these were from countries of terrorist concern.” It is a fact, and not a conspiracy theory, that Sunni extremists are infiltrating with the assistance of Latin America alien smuggling networks. Both Iran and Hezbollah are increasing their involvement in Latin America. Joel Vargas, head of Contingent Security Services and a consultant to law enforcement claims that Guatemala is the weak link and point of entry for immigrants from MENA for the last six years.

It is not just that many of these MENA migrants pose an obvious terrorist threat to U.S. citizens, but they also pose a health threat as well. Outbreaks of Measles, Polio, Tuberculosis, Yellow Fever, and Hepatitis are all on the upswing due to the increase of immigrants that even the directors of Homeland Security and the F.B.I. say we are not prepared to properly vet. If asked, C.D.C would have to admit the same. Apparently, proper vetting cannot stand in the way of the President’s destructive immigration goals. There is currently a catastrophic outbreak of the flesh-eating disease, known as Leishmaniasis, across the Middle East and North Africa.

Cutaneous Leishmaniasis (CL) is the most common form of the disease which is caused by protozoan parasites that are spread by sand flies.. It manifests itself with volcano-like skin ulcers across the body. Mucocutaneous Leishmaniasis, a more advanced form of the disease, likewise produces skin ulcers as well as mucosal ulcers in the nose and mouth. Visceral Leishmmaniasis is the most serious form of the disease and can be fatal as it attacks the internal organs as well as bone marrow. An epidemic of Leishmaniasis raged through South Sudan from 1984 until 1994 killing 40,000 people.

What should set off alarms is the fact that the parasites responsible for this deadly disease may survive for years while a host remains asymptomatic. If you add in the factor that the blood test which the C.D.C. administers to refugees does not even look for Leishmaniasis it would seem as though the Obama administration is rolling the dice, and perhaps sealing the fate of some innocent Americans, by admitting refugees from Afghanistan, Algeria, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Syria where the disease is prevalent.

But these are just details – details that the main stream media and the Obama administration do not believe are important, or that you should concern yourself with. Diversity is our king and Multiculturalism his queen, and sympathy for Obama’s chosen lot outweighs security for Americans. No, there are immigration goals to be met and a culture to be sullied and contaminated. If some folks choose to be bitter and want to cling to their culture, and should fall victim to the details by happenstance, well then, that’s just the way the Devil rolls the dice. It’s the nature of his game, and it’s not puzzling.

Thanks for this nkit. I’m vaguely aware of these issues and I appreciate you making them a bit less vague. So much doom porn, so little time.

I’m tellin’ ya! I am happier and happier on a daily basis that I chose not to have kids. This fucking world is insane! Nuclear war, world war, civil war, class war, holy war and race war are all on the table for this turning. Even if we manage to dodge most of that we’ve got disease and pestilence ready to step in as needed.

The Donald has the opportunity to get his name on the same marquee as the Second Coming if he can fix this mess!

If he or anyone could fix this mess there would be no need for the second coming.

We deal with it as best we can as it plays out until then, that’s all.

Regrettably Rob, we have not helped your Jays yet. We still have 2 more games with Bawston at the Trop and go there next week after a 3 game set with the Astros. We’re not dead yet. (we will be shortly) We don’t want to get on the cart.

Snakepliskin apparently caught the numerous hints/lines/references throughout the article referring to “Sympathy for the Devil” Was just having a little fun and trying to be a bit cryptic.

Making good songs part of 4th turning is good fun. I liked it.

The 14th Amendment, which failed ratification but was enacted anyway, overturned the Constitution’s recognition of sovereign state power, part of which was a recognition that the states had rightful oversight over immigration across their own borders.

Read that amendment sometime and you’ll see that 3/4ths of the text is devoted to punishing former Confederates and the rest is devoted to proclaiming total federal control of the states. If the states were still sovereign, no president nor any session of Congress could decree that any state had to allow unchecked infiltration by foreign nationals.

Thanks for your comment, Ed. Very interesting subject.. Apparently the 14th Amendment was bitterly contested and eventually ratified, but not until the Federal Government threatened the former Confederate States (that had refused to ratify it with the exception of TN) by not allowing those states congressional representation until they did ratify it.

Indeed, punishing Confederates played a part because the Federal Government had been at war with them, thus they were still looked upon as enemies of the country, and the heavily litigated 14th Amendment was used similarly to deport Germans for the same reason after WWII :

https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/335/188

The dissent by Rutledge, Black and Murphy is interesting.. Best I can tell is that the Territorial Jurisdiction Clause of Section I was cited for Federal Law reigning over State – that and perhaps the Supremacy Clause of Article VI Clause 2.

But apparently, from what I could find, the Federal Government actually claims the right to police immigration under The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) of 1952..seen here:

http://immigration.findlaw.com/immigration-laws-and-resources/federal-vs-state-immigration-laws.html

Still, the jurisdictional question continues to be debated and litigated as we saw with Arizona’s S.B. 1070 in 2010. Does the Constitution give the Federal government explicit authority to police immigration.. Not that I can see. Has it been litigated and construed to do so? It sure seems that way, unfortunately.
At any rate, thanks again as I learned some things I did not know and wouldn’t without your comment.

nkit,
good analysis and material.
I am interested in Ed’s suggestion we read the 14th amendment.
If he is correct the states have no individual power whatsoever
and are under the thumb of Fed. rules.
Disease? People have no idea what awaits them.
Next we may see the Guinea worm/Dracunculiasus, but it will be
the atypical TB that gets us. Look up TB sometime, it is a very
interesting bacteria. Then consider the urban legend of people
spitting on food served in fast food joints and restaurants.
Sorry to be so gross…my son assures me this is true/and other
atrocities as well. Wealth and taste/indeed.

A great post nkit!

It is difficult to oppose the Liberal Plan that Obama and his ilk are trying enact without being cast as the bad guy. Your post has done a good job avoiding that trap. Those who are behind him have tried to frame it in such a way that if you are against him then you are a racist. But that Ad hominem is rapidly and thankfully losing it’s effectiveness.

The reason in part for how shrill the opposition to Trump has been is because so many persons long silent have had enough. They are quickly realizing that the old tactics that have been used don’t work anymore.

Pretty sad that standing up for secure borders and having control over who gets to come here is seen in such a way. What was once a melting pot has turned into stew of opposing identities and pathogens. But that is the underlying plan and how the playbook reads if one follows Critical Theory as promoted by the Marxists from the Frankfurt School.

It will fail. When who knows.

Those that do will eventually stop giving it to those that don’t.
