It looks like any terrorist (SJW or BLM) could sneak behind those two Marine guards and enter the bldg.

Just spotted two more guys sneaking in. Are they guards or statues.

So now they switch the feed to ABC news, and THE FIRST THING I hear is that families are cowering in fear today as Trump the divider is sworn in. GAWD I wonder when the media is going to quit. I guess it is going to take Trumps FCC to start threatening to revoke broadcast licenses before these asshats are going to get it….WE elected Donald Trump, F$%ing deal with it…..

And now begins at least for me the 100 day watch, will I believe be enuff time to see what this new admin will do and whether they keep their word or sell us out to the reptilians, decades of watching lying pols and govt. has jaded me.

I will say if we as a country sold out we at least have learned this election we are not alone and this no matter what happens is only the beginning. That said, would be nice if we had a shrinking daily govt. behind us in our endeavors.

Might be more interesting to see what the leftist opposition does to prevent them from doing anything.

That’s where the real action will be, and hysterical action for the most part IMO.

What a truly great acceptance speech.

Is it just me or did Obama look downright angry while he was listening to it, and didn’t Bush seem a bit thrilled about it in the rare instance the feed cut to him?

You bet Obama didn’t like Trumps speech. I doubt few in attendance did. It was a slap in their faces and a warning that ‘business as usual’ is over. That the power and resources of the United States will not be put at the service of the UN or any other international institution. If Trump prevails Washington D.C is in big trouble as the offices get emptied out. Wouldn’t want to own real estate there!

Balls to wall! Pedal to metal! No prisoners! The gauntlet has been thrown down. A Deplorable’s “historical” is a Snowflake’s “hysterical”.

Trump’s inaugural speech was declaration of war. The establishment is now cornered. Now, things get real.

What will happen next? Can’t wait to see…

To reiterate: Today, America returns to……
…..its Judaeo-Christian basis as it was originally formed. God and the Bible have returned to our governing, and the government will be returned to it’s citizens….of the People, by the People, and for the People. OWG, Islam, and Muslims will no longer control our direction as in the last 8 years. God bless America……again. Amen.

NPR had the cringiest coverage. Mara Liason went on for ten minutes before the ceremony how no President-elect in history had ever used the word “I” more than Trump and she was going to be counting. She must have slept through the Obama years. When he gave the speech he said it one time, one time only.

They said it was a “dark” speech and “gloomy” and mentioned no plans, failed to speak to history, was divisive and focused only on his constituency. It was a stump speech according to them.

Weird.

It was actually the opposite of what they claim.

Someone should point that out to them.

Not that they’d understand it.

It’s Schadenfreude time –
My local Unitarian Universalist Church has fallen on tough times. I still get their newsletter, and the email list for the choir still has me on it (I really liked to sing with them, and perhaps a few friends still remain there). But between a few families that moved away, suffered losses and suffered deaths, the funding core has been sadly reduced. {About the same for every church: a small number of people actually do the heavy lifting on funding, paying for special projects, sudden needs AND the daily in / out expenses that the collection plate never seems to manage completely}. Anyway, once the numbers crunched they were about $48,000 short for the year, and the usual funding wasn’t there.
The choir has jumped in to try to run fundraisers of all sorts, to plug the gap. But even they are finding it tough; and the choir emails are full of “WE NEED TO DO MORE”, “WE NEED MORE PEOPLE PARTICIPATING IN THE FUNDRAISERS THAN THE SAME FIFTEEN PEOPLE” and “WE HAVE TO FILL THE GAPS BY OCTOBER, AND THEY ARE STILL $xx,xxx AWAY”. Note some of these liberals make a LOT more than I do!
Seems a lot like Pareto’s 80 / 20 rule to me.
Basically, though, if the Feds stop picking up part of NPR’s bills it may not kill it, but I suspect they will feel the pain. All those unemployed people and market-loss-leaders that bankrolled Hillary may not be eager to pick up NPR’s losses as well. Wouldn’t it be ironic if Hillary’s failure and Obama’s policies wound up financially crippling NPR, PBS, NEA and a whole lot of liberal necessities once Trump pulls the plug on Federal funding?
