Excellent point Anon–it very well could have been this one or 2 guys and been an anti-muslim act. The alla chu akbhar could have been called out by those about to die but what is glaring is, again, the MSM uniformity in quickly accepting a single version that fits their agenda and pre-conceived notions, then “case closed.”
Investigative and honest journalism that searches and disseminates truthful news is dead and buried with a cairn of 100 lb boulders upon it.

The Legacy Media really dropped the ball on this one. Some in so-called Mainstream picked up story initially that this was carried out by two “white supremacists”. Turns out that was “fake news” from a twitter account that is actually, and they describe themselves as such, a parody. So much for fact checking when the journalists use that site as a source.
The next day realizing their mistake the story switches. Not learning their lesson from just a day before it is now two different men. Once again they are named. Both described as suspects. One Morrocan born the other a native Quebecois. Then it turns out now that only one was a shooter. The other just a witness.
Hardly surprising that so much confusion reigns now as to what is going on.
For several hours the story was in flux. Which man committed the crime. Sean Spicer didn’t help things at WH Presser yesterday but once it became clear that Andre Bissonette was going to be charged it didn’t take long for the Liberal trolls to flood the internet to Blame it on Trump.
But I am with the Rebel reporter on this at least. There has to be more to this story. At least she is reporting. All I saw last night on CBC, what I could stomach of it, was an endless parade of virtue signalling.
I don’t think I will be turning on TV today. The Moonbats are going to be out in force. Muslims are the victims here and narratives need a fixin’
Foxy and all you other Canadians on this list,
I realize that economically we are so much bigger than you so what we do economically matters to you but why do Canadians get so worked up over what we do culturally, such as the Muslim ban?Why the intense dislike of Trump?I bet there’s not a guy on this list that cares for Trudeau but we don’t get worked up over him unless he goes after our country in some way.
Trump is a threat to the New World Order, the globalist movement and the elite establishment of leftist controlled national and multinational governments worldwide.
This offends virtually all Canadians, they oppose this almost to a man.
You just asked the million dollar Canadian question.
Why does Canada give a rats ass about the US when the US doesn’t give a shit about Canada when it comes to economics and politics?
I suspect the answer lies somewhere between the dog, his tail and who wags who.
For some of us, mostly business people like me, we are acutely aware of how the world works in a very real sense. I am not bothered by it, there is no shame in admitting your nation’s place when it is not something that you control. I did not decide where I would be born or what size my nation would be, who it would be placed next to or what the resulting relationship would look like. I do not view these things as affecting my character nor do they define who I am as an individual any more than simply living on the other side of the 49th determines an American’s personal identity (as shown by the womens march etc etc etc).
For others (mostly the brain washed) they are aware of this relationship in only a very peripheral way, are likely ashamed of it or reject it based on the propaganda they have been spoon fed their whole lives and so they lash out in a manner that is in a sense virtue signalling to others. They cannot divorce their invdividual identity from what they have been taught their national identity is and since being Canadian is by and large the same as being taught that you are ‘not American’ then the virtue signalling takes the form of antiAmericanism. And since Trump is a president chosen to “Make America Great Again” then he is to be despised, since we are not ‘American’ which we acutally are but that is a topic for a completely different blog post.
Summed up: The behaviour is a result of an ongoing identity crisis. One which I and many like me do not suffer from. Unfortunately a sizeable and very vocal percentage of the country still does.
Should do an article on being a Canadian. You Americans would be shaking your heads. Anyways all this effort trying to convince everyone we are different. Yet the more folks here talk the more everyone realizes that we are all the same. Does it make sense? Not really and the effort I continue to find hard to comprehend.
Considering the number of so-called terrorists’ attacks in Europe and the US shown to be false-flag operations, one must question – until investigated independently – if this was another false-flag. Are there really people in the Quebec nationalist movement capable of this type of mass murder? Possible objectives of a false-flag event are: 1) embarrass Trump; 2) support Trudeau in attacking free speech, and 3) labeling nationalists/anti-immigration groups in Canada as terrorists. The timing and terminology is interesting to say the least, particularly after Trump banned travel from 7 Islamic countries. We must follow this very carefully to see who they arrest but keep in mind that Trudeau like Obama, Hillary, Hollande and Merkel is an agent of the Deep State. These are scary times when trust in “our” government and the corporate-controlled MSM is at rock bottom levels.
I could care less either way at this point but here are the facts: Trudeau promised during the election to “get assault weapons off the streets” and “pass a law forcing firearm dealers to give up their customer lists of who bought what” and other harsh communist type gun control. He famously stated that he has “great admiration for the Chinese system of government.” It is a fact that he hates freedom and especially firearms so with weed set to be legalized this spring do you think he will then do lay offs of overstaffed police departments? He will do exactly what USA did when they ended prohibition, bring in a whole bunch of new gun laws to give the boys in blue something to do. This attack is very timely indeed. Just a coincidence right? Give me freedom over safety any day.

The Boy Wonder is begging for more Musloids to come to Canada, that should calm the brain washed back into their safespace.
Any affected Muslims arriving here while the temporary ban is in place should be immediately put on a flight to Canada where they are welcomed by everyone living there.
IMO, I would liked to have seen a broader ban, those few named countries are not the only source of high probability for terrorism Muslims.
I like too many Canadians (including FM) to want to send potential terrorists there. They have enough problems (Trudeau, the Quebecois first-ers, various forms of liberal mentally ill) to want them to suffer additional pain.

I’m interested to know what firearm was used and how it was obtained.
Some media outlets reported it was an AK-47 rifle (although the media tends to call all long guns an AK-47, since they know nothing about firearms). For now, assume it was an AK-47 rifle. All fully automatic rifles are prohibited firearms in Canada, so if it was full auto, where did it come from? It’s possible he had an altered semi-automatic only version, but centre fire rifle magazines are restricted to 5 rounds in Canada, either by using a smaller capacity magazine or one pinned to only allow 5 rounds. This supposed lone gunman was able to shoot more than 20 people. Did he drill out the pin or have a prohibited magazine which allowed more than 5 rounds, did he reload multiple times, or was there more than one shooter?
Good questions, given a gun-control nation; but we will likely never know the true answer due to the leftist media.
Are the Canadian people asking for true answers to that and other mysteries of this incident?

God, what bullshit!
Canada has pursued a very strange (to me, anyway) immigration policy. The attack in Ottawa a few years back should have been a warning flare. So now some nutter gets pissed off and shoots up a mosque.
And naturally, the US and Trump are to blame? Seriously?
Politicians are the same everywhere. Instead of confronting the assimilation/ immigration issue in Canada, Trudeau will now blame Trump for all Canada’s problems. When the Vancouver real-estate market crashes, it will be Trump’s fault too I guess.
Liberalism/Progressivism is a mental disorder everywhere.

T2 needs someone to blame and Mr. Trump makes a convenient scapegoat. It’s not like T2’s carbon tax, phasing out the oilsands and allowing in thousands of unemployable “refugees” are going to improve our prosperity in Canada. Things are only going to get worse up here in the Great White North.
Is this constant barrage of perimeter/parameter screw-ups some form of media-wide ignorance or another example of the Mandela Effect? I’ve heard at least half a dozen different reporters get this wrong in the last 24 hours.
Parameter: a numerical or other measurable factor forming one of a set that defines a system or sets the conditions of its operation.
Perimeter: the continuous line forming the boundary of a closed geometric figure.
Or am I misunderstanding what the police have set up around the crime scene?

It could be an English/French translation/pronunciation issue. The French pronunciation of perimeter, sounds similar to the English pronunciation of parameter.
I was wondering about perimeter/parameter myself and was thinking it may be some strange Canadian accent. The French connection may explain it, but it sure sounded funny to my ears.

Dear Mr. Trudeau,
Diversity might be your strength but it is our expense. If you want refugees, I suggest you house them in your home, pay for the costs out of your income and suffer any negative consequences such as long waits obtaining medical services. I don’t want to pay for any more refugees or immigrants with income stolen from Canadian families by the Government of Canada. I want to look after my family and fellow Canadians but you are welcome to spend YOUR money on refugees. It is all fine and dandy to tweet wonderful slogans but if you were sincere, you would not be downloading the costs onto the Canadian people. The net cost of immigrants to Canadian taxpayers now totals over $25 billion each and every year which is more than Canada spends on health care and defence combined.
Sincerely,
A Canadian producer tired of being ripped off by parasites

I’m thinking the entire story of this will never be told.
But I bet it would be interesting to hear it.
