I was never a real fan of his insulting comedy, but I loved him in his movie roles…especially in “Kelly’s Heroes.” A sad loss for comedy.

What a day, missiles are falling in Syria and I’m sitting here in tears laughing at the best of Don Rickles. Great man who brought laughter to me from my first forays into humor as a kid to this evening, when I realized how much a part of my life he was. As I remember, he always ended his routines with genuine love and respect for all of his “victims”. Nobody could twist the comedic knife like he did, wonderful man, may he rest in peace.

Had mixed opinions on his brand of humor, but he was funny, and entertaining. Will be missed.
