Now that Ron Paul has effectively retired, who do you look at as a political leader?
I’ll take that top guy, he’s pro-Brexit.
How about no leader-who wants to be a follower?
That would be optimal.
It would be optimal. For me, there isn’t really anyone. I’m not looking for a ‘leader’ to tell me what or how to think, but someone who thinks like me and actually represents my interests would be nice. That person doesn’t exist, that I’m aware of. I voted for Trump because I don’t want to go to war with Russia over nonsense in places like Syria, or anywhere else in the ME for that matter. Also, to secure the border, and stop importing third world squatters into this country. Thus far, he has been a complete failure in every one of those areas. If he keeps heading in his present direction, I’m done participating.
All Chiefs and no Indians usually doesn’t work out well.
Mankind has always needed leaders, demanded them at times as the early Israelite’s did (1 Samuel 8).
It’s part of human nature, it’s ingrained within us from birth where our parents are our first leaders.
Selecting our leaders is a rather recent development in human history, we’ll soon find out if it succeeded or failed.
There’s a difference between those leaders one chooses for themselves and those that are thrust on us. Keep your dictators to yourself.
The Israelites I mentioned chose to have their King.
And as I pointed out, the ability to choose our own rulers is rare in history.
Further, my post was in response to yours suggesting no leader at all and hinting they are unnecessary.
Have you now changed your position? That as long as we choose them, they are OK?
It may come as a shock to you but I don’t give a shit about what some primitive, Neanderthals like the Israelite’s did a thousand years ago. The article is about political leaders and no I haven’t changed my view. I don’t want any. None. No more top down, ruling class for me. And if that’s a concept too hard for you to get to you’re best suited to be a follower. Good luck with that.
