Worst budget season in history ended this week.
Shoveled, hauled, and spread 6 yards of mulch yesterday for eight hours.
Today I get to do an eight hour roundtrip through torrential rains to pick up my son at Penn State.
I’ll be off-line for the rest of the day.
Here are some reminiscences from previous trips with son number one. Son number three starts at Penn State in August.
THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE SMELLY
JUNIOR ADMINISTRATOR, ALTOONA, BIG K & THE WRATH OF GOD
The Good, The Bad and the Smelly.
I laughed for hours at that one. I really think it should be pitched as a movie. A very close second would be the trip to Wildwood with the Cat.
The cat who ate the fishing line was pretty hilarious too. Poor lil guy.
Admin,
You are an angel to give the word hungry something
to read. Good luck for your drive, and time alone with
your precious son. You are a smartie good guy and we
love you.
You’re the man, Jim.
Are you nuts-why did you do the mulch yourself when you have a son coming home?
Whoops,I forgot,it’s easier & quicker to do it yourself then it is to get the kids to work.
Been there, busted my back doing that.
For the next three months son number two gets to observe the 30 Blocks of Squalor up close and personal as he works an internship in our IT department and gets to enjoy my daily commute.
I hope your travels are not into anything such as this mess I have to travel toward soon.
Southeast Missouri is a disaster.

The trip sucked. Torrential downpours and 18 wheelers crawling up my ass. I’m beat.
Musta been the Jews.
Glad you are safe.
I figured Friday Fail was late for a reason.
