Someone, maybe Will Grigg (I don’t remember) wrote that Satan was offering Jesus the kingdoms of the world, not the world itself, because the kingdoms (governments) belong to Satan.
That’s a pretty good observation about kings and other rulers. They all seem to be evil, with the arrogance that comes with power.
