Black America wrong to blame white racism for woes
I know of no white person alive today in the United States who has ever legally owned a black slave, or any slave for that matter. Almost 700,000 mostly white men died 160 years ago to end slavery. Jim Crow ended generations ago. Yet black America, for the most part, is still locked in inner-city gang violence and economic hardship. Why?
Is it because America is racist? Is it because of some overhanging white supremacy? Is it because of the Illuminati?
No, unfortunately, it is because of black culture and the adoption of Democratic Party government dependency.
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. We have just had eight years of the first black president. Black athletes, and entertainers, routinely earn multi-million dollar incomes. I can easily name several black billionaires without even trying too hard. A large percentage of black America is very successful. But, it is not enough. Too many black youth are being left behind.
And it is no one but black America’s fault.
No one can solve this problem but black America. No one can throw enough money at it. We’ve tried that. Black America needs to look in the mirror and stop blaming others, especially white people.
I am obviously white and conservative, and I served in the military, which, during my time, was as color blind as you could be. I can also honestly say I don’t give a damn what color your skin is, neither do any of my friends. I do care about your actions.
Blacks are around 15 percent of the population. Depending on what study you look at, they commit around 40 percent to 50 percent of violent crime in America. Of course, there is going to be a problem with police. And, of course, there are some bad policemen. However, those bad apples do not kill black people statistically anymore than they kill white people. Even Harvard said that recently. If you were a cop, and you had to work in a neighborhood infested with crime and murder, wouldn’t you act differently than in a neighborhood where there was little crime? The most effective thing black America could do to improve its relationship with police is to significantly reduce violent crime where they live. Yes, that means change the culture of where you live and your community.
I for one am tired of being blamed. I am tired of dealing with people who only want something from others. I don’t oppress anyone. I don’t hold anyone down. I’m tired of getting on the D.C. metro and seeing white people being harassed by roaming gangs of black youth with their pants around their knees. Yes, you want a white person uncomfortable? That makes me uncomfortable. It’s our nation’s capital and it’s embarrassing.
Blacks have nothing but opportunity in America. Try finding the same opportunity anywhere else in the world. If you are born in America you’ve won life’s economic lottery. Take advantage of it.
The problem is this generation has been taught an agenda of cultural Marxism by our education system. They’ve been taught to be a victim, and it’s still going on. All you have to do is watch the young black, female student at Yale screaming at the college president to understand that. Blacks in America don’t even know how good they got it.
Don’t kneel when my anthem is played. Too many people died for that flag. You are free to protest but not then. I am free to not watch, or pay to watch you play if you do that. The NFL should make it a rule that you stand for the national anthem. There is no free speech to disobey a private employer on private property. This would solve the problem immediately.
The NFL has deeply offended most of America. They will pay an economic and reputational price, as they should.
We have a real cultural problem in this country, the result of the Leftist multicultural agenda. Multi-ethnicity is perfect and should be encouraged. Having more than one American culture is destroying the country. But then again, that is what the Left wants.
Anger and contempt at blacks blaming everyone but themselves is understandable, but I wonder if we shouldn’t just move on to humor and mockery.

It was only a few weeks back where I had to counter my adult prodigy as to why whites became privileged.
It was a no-brainer, really. Whites created the civilization in which we live.
What Govt education and parents have lost in instructing our own and our offspring is the “How” it came about.
Most importantly it was a man I call “Forgotten”. This newly arrived settled a spit of property, had offspring and gave the offspring a leg-up (not hand-out) who then went on to do the very same thing and so on. This most important Forgotten man, lost generations ago, has no statue or plaque to be remembered by.
The torch he passed on became doused in the late nineteen fifties. His ” Leg-up” have multiplied so much so that they are wholly taken for granted and are viewed as always being there.
I instructed my adult prodigy,”Be careful. This scam of theirs has been cleverly crafted and used before his birth date. Their end game won’t be about getting your privilidges as that is still yours to dole out or keep. No, they’ll want total control as is inevitable of all venal groups of people. So much control you’ll have no say in anything. Don’t cast pearls before swine as they’ll not be returned when you want them back.
Rather remember the Forgotten man. Without slaves built the roads , canals,railroads. Systems of all manner , expeditious.”

Exactly. Why does every one seem to feel the need to throw in these platitudes in nearly every one of these articles? You are still going to be called a racist by everyone who doesn’t already agree with you. You aren’t even allowed to make the slightest inference that maybe, just maybe, what passes for ‘culture’ with most of black society is the primary reason for most of their problems.
But, it would be unfair to neglect to mention that white people ARE partially to blame, though not for the reasons most often given. White liberals seem to be the ones screaming this nonsense the loudest. It was white liberals who set up the nanny state. A white president and white congress instituted the ‘great society’ and ‘war on poverty’ that have put us into this present situation.
You blame “Black Culture!” Black Culture, now there is the contradictory term of all contradictory terms. “Black Culture”, seriously, I’m laughing so damn hard I can barely type. Thanks for the largeness of humor, Christ bless and thanks.

Affirmative action, especially in government hiring practices, is largely responsible for the illusion of the black middle class in America. While I’ve met plenty of blacks who were plenty smart and hard working enough to succeed on their own, much of what passes for the black middle class consists of government drones working jobs that shouldn’t even exist.

That is the money quote. Blacks problems are self-inflected because they adopt the “Black Culture”.
I know many successful blacks they all rejected the Black Culture and adopted what one said is the American Dream Culture. Work hard, educate yourself in a desired profession, save, have a two parent family…the Black Culture teaches to reject the American Dream Culture.
I live in Appalachia were a large portion of the white people have adopted the Black Culture…they are know as White Trash. Lazy, on every form of government assistance, no father in the home and consider themselves entitled.
It is real simple. Take a black kid and raise them in the American Dream Culture and you get Tiger Woods. Take a white kid and raise them in the Black Culture and you get White Trash thug.

In previous comments here, I’ve recommended Thomas Sowell’s magnum opus “Black Rednecks and White Liberals,” and I’ll do it again. Sowell masterfully describes how blacks were catching up to the white middle class and how this gradually decreased white prejudices and white opposition to having black neighbors because blacks were becoming culturally very similar to whites: they had two-parent homes who often went to church, who valued education and who raised children that respected the law and became productive, respectable citizens.
It was a sudden flood of undereducated and socioeconomically unenviable blacks into northern urban areas that reversed this trend. Those blacks were not criminal, but they brought with them “primitive” habits and simply knew no better as they were from southern, oftentimes remote southern, regions where the urban way of life was unknown. Bluntly, it was ignorant country bumpkins flooded big American cities.
In another section of his book, Sowell makes the important point that there have always been disparities of achievement between different people groups (and from this we can surmise than within each people group we will likewise witness variance of success). Sowell then segues into the argument that if internal reasons/explanations for external performance are going to be ignored or pretended not to exist (let alone socially criminalized), then the remaining explanation will be external interference.
In simple words, if lower talent levels are not acceptable or even thinkable as rational answers as to why some groups underperform, then the only possible answer is that there are outside forces deliberately preventing certain groups to succeed. Here Sowell skillfully points to racism and bigotry without using those actual words; in the parlance of the modern social justice warrior, Sowell is speaking of “oppression” and “marginalization” of underprivileged people.
Sowell then concludes by reminding readers that given humanity has always had representatives who were unjust and quite willing (and able) to inflict harm and cruelty on others, there will therefore never be a shortage of potential “sinners” whom one can blame for the plight of certain groups, and as such, concessions may always be extracted (or efforts to extract at least). Obviously, Sowell refers to things like affirmative action, quotas, reparation, and such.
Sowell also points out that if the main tenet of multiculturalism is that all cultures are equal, then logically, all cultures should perform equally. That this does not happen is not, as per the contemporary zeitgeist, because of a diversity of potential, intellect, talent, and ability; rather, it is because certain sectors of humanity are maliciously acting to deprive other sectors of whatever is needed for high achievement.
It is not without reason that Sowell (and Walter Williams and other black intellectuals who think alike) is demonized as an “uncle Tom.”
I read somewhere whites receive a negative return on their taxes of around $2400 annually in benefits from their tax dollars, while blacks receive a positive $5400 annually. That’s a net wealth transfer from white families to black families of $7800 annually.
Has is benefited blacks one iota? No, it’s only served to push whites down, and be treated on the same level of blacks by the globalists. At some point, Americans will have to make a stand. It will only be too late if we allow it to be.
