Just one big fucking scam.

Let’s have a national sales tax. No more IRS, no more forms.

Hardy Har Har, what’s the point of winning an election if you can’t engineer society?

What’s funny about this debate is the democrats are saying the same things the republicans said during the obama years, it’s like the sides switched the playbook. Listened to schumer and pelosi shrill on today about the GOP tax plan, I was laughing in my truck.

We all know, thanks to admins articles, maff is hard for our elected representatives.
We want more government spending on free stuff, and we want lower taxes on ourselves, but higher taxes on the other guy.

Simple fucking headed our way, unless you’re a banker, CEO or .01%er.

Rearranging the pieces on the game board will ultimately do nothing.

The game is flawed from conception. Throw it all out. Taxing work leads to less work. Just look at the welfare state.

This game operates on the presumption that the government owns your time and therefore you.

End the Fed…restore money as the servant of the people not their slave master.

What the fuck? Can’t the graphic generators just put an income level, number of kids, etc. without the SJW bullshit?

IKR? I can’t even tell which ones are the CIS men from the trans-men, so I don’t know which column to look under. How much do we genderqueers have to pay? And do you get a bigger deduction if your kids are a little Mexican?

LOL, my thoughts exactly. Can’t even get a fucking tax change infographic without seeing “Joe and Ethan” or “Soren and Linnea?” One gay couple isn’t enough? Good fucking grief.

Same old game. Let’s make a big deal about taxes and get everyone arguing over who is better off, who wins and who loses. All the while the most important issue gets ignored.

What is it that no one wants to talk about – SPENDING !!! That’s where the real problem is, without dealing with that, nothing that is done with anything else is ever going to matter.

Since when did “revenue neutral” become a GOP catchphrase to be worshiped?

Shut down the overseas empire, bring ALL the troops home to finally defend America for a change, end ALL foreign aid, and gut the domestic welfare state. That would provide more than enough money to pay for REAL tax cuts AND a reduction of the debt. Better yet, simply shut down the federal government, dissolve the country into AT LEAST 50 sovereign states (I would prefer 5000), and let us earn, keep, and spend our money on what WE want rather than what the politicians and their “friends” want.

Dutchman, a flat percent tax would be the least of the tax evils. No deductions, exceptions, credits, exclusions, etc. Just a levy to pay for all the government ‘services’ we are getting. Minimal distortion of economic signals. No social engineering.

Perhaps such a system operates in the next life…

Why a flat tax discussion at all. Take last years spending for all government services, divide it by the number of people here, subtract other sources of revenue (corporate taxes, tariffs, fees, fines, penalties) and assess everyone the same amount.

There are no fair tax systems and no fair cost cuts. Someone, somewhere always gets their ox gored. Therefore, nothing “fair” will ever happen. We must each deal with it and adapt to it in our own unique ways.

The sick thing is that you could reduce taxation by….70%? 80%? Maybe even 90%….if you just rooted the government completely out of the medical industry and eliminated social security.

Way too early to speculate or post scenarios of this tax plan proposal. It will be sliced and diced to the point it won’t look anything like it’s current form…if a tax plan is even passed by Congress at all.

All the graphs and statements by partisans are bull shit. At the end of the day we will pay more taxes. That is what it is all about.
