I haven’t seen that level of whitewashing outside of the Northern histories of the War for Southern Independence (1861-1865).

Decades ago, painting exterior of my mom’s house, on a section with a good slope, step-ladder with boards under one of its legs – it gave way and I landed on the ground with the paint bucket falling on my head.
An uncle was walking by and he laughed his ass off.
Other than that … yup. When I stained the concrete porch it literally took two weeks to get the stains off my hands, and other parts (I do pee from time to time).
