According to a new poll from The Levada Center, 23 percent of Russians believe their country is surrounded by enemies.
While, the list of who Americans consider their enemies has been covered by Statista before, Niall McCarthy wonders what do Russians think?
You will find more statistics at Statista
The research shows that 68 percent of people in Russia consider the United States a threat.
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. Considering the annexation of the Crimea and the war in Eastern Ukraine, 29 percent of respondents also said that Ukraine is an enemy.
Even though the Russian military is heavily committed to the war in Syria, only 5 and 4 percent of people respectively say Islamic extremists are a threat. That’s less than Germany, the UK and NATO which are all labelled enemies by 6 percent of Russians.
Internally, only two percent of respondents consider oligarchs and bankers enemies and one percent think Vladimir Putin is a threat.
Interesting that so few name Putin.
I wonder how many American’s would name Trump? Do we have that statistic available? I’m sure someone does.
Roughly 50% consider Trump an enemy. (my Opinion)
Russia is an adversary.
You compete with an adversary. You destroy an enemy.
If you’re not conversant with the anti-Russia Wolfowitz Doctrine, look it up. The NeoCons are heavy into this, and have been pushing the NATO expansion right to Russia’s borders since Clinton began the push.
NATO expansion. Ukraine coup d’état via $5 billion US tax dollars. Syria, with Assad’s resistance to replacing Gazprom sales with Qatar sales of natural gas.
Why would anyone be surprised at the 68% view?
Im allways suspicious of statistics, for example, statistically speaking 9 out of 10 people enjoy gang rape.
I’ve told this story before so I’ll nutshell it.
During the Cold War, when we were tracking every movement of every Soviet vessel that moved anywhere in “eyesight” of the AWACS plane (and I could tell you but then they might come get me), a big storm in the North Sea forced some Russian Fighters to divert and they landed at the Naval Air Station until the storm passed.
Allowed to guard their planes and eat in the chow hall. Left when the skies cleared.
We went back to enemy status.
Greatest enemies of the American people:
1. The Federal Reserve
2. The Federal Government
3. Their State Government
4. Their county government
5. Their city government
6. Various domestic/globalist business entities that exploit the power of the federal, state, and local governments as a means of threatening the freedom, liberty, and future of the citizens.
7. Various foreign entities that exploit the power of the federal government to do their bidding.
…………….
1,000,000. Foreign terrorists
