Last week his BBC interview with the BBC’s Cathy Newman drew a lot of attention. No matter which side of the ideological debate you may find yourself, this is one of the best examples of the difference between the two positions. Doesn’t Jordan understand that he is not playing the part that has been written for white males? Just look at the evolution of how white males are portrayed in all aspects of media, bumbling, weak minded, submissive fools. That is our part, and it angers people (especially females) when we refuse to play that role.
Jordan is a rational man living and working in an irrational world. I’m surprised he hasn’t had a stroke yet.

Jordan Peterson had it right at the first part of his analysis, she is a fake person, you can’t have a real conversation with her. Why, she would be perfect for disseminating fake news, so to speak. I believe this psychological flaw is one characteristic of all fake news purveyors and politicians. They are liars, damaged and dangerous people.
Having watched more than 20-30 hours of Jordan Peterson video (taped lectures, interviews and conversations with other academics and well really smart people) I am convinced he is a truth seeking artist who can combine observations of all kinds and mold them into a higher form of his understanding of the world that is quite compelling and educational. He’s not for everyone. You need a functioning brain and some education to even follow some of his abstract concepts although he tries to keep it simple (it’s not). In a world of sister in-laws posting 25 memes about gun control on facebook without even writing a word of their own, late night “comedy” reduced to ideological pandering for ratings, news shows that actually make you (me anyway) feel bias sick , he’s a giant refreshing mind that gives at least a little hope that there still is sanity out there.

Yes that is true although it is not particularly important to HSF’s point.
I wish everyone I interact with would watch these and at least try to understand Jordan’s point of view and approach to rational approach and rational theory.
It is the only way we can fight the insanity of those around us; wake them. Or, as some of our Untrainable types around here say: Woke them now!

You know Maggie I have struggled with this for a very long time. When I was doing stand-up I discovered the truth about Americans and their capacity for understanding things like logic and hyperbole one joke at a time. Most people haven’t got the vocabulary to understand this kind of discourse never mind the power of reason. I don’t know for certain but my gut tells me it has only gotten worse over the last 25 years.
I am pretty certain that he is also deeply misguided about his individual versus the collective position. He wishes that it were true, but most people simply haven’t got the self assurance to resist a feeling of attachment to the collective as opposed to standing up as an individual. That requires something else the average person simply does not possess. In a fractured society with a multitude of classes, races, ethnicities and other identitarian options, the average American (awful term, but I digress) has no need for being an individual. They prefer their set/tribe/club/faith/organization to their own ideas and opinions.
For people here- yes, I know we’re not all that bright, but I still think we’re capable of getting his point- he is articulate, reasonable, calm and insightful and that’s more than enough.

In the top (analysis) video, JP had an excellent insight. It was this (paraphrased):

Sometimes they are awful, but I appreciate the ones that speak to the naturalness of hierarchy and the guaranteed death for all when the burden of guiding a community/culture is offloaded to the lowest common denominator.
I am not even saying that JP has all the answers. I am saying that he seems to be able to calmly state his point of view with backup and almost never calls anyone a moron. And in this video he explains that 80% of your life is ruled by standard practices.
Once women have forced all men to conform to their feminist tripe, such as in Europe they run off looking for some muslim dude because they think they want cucks but they want just the opposite.
I find him refreshing and entertaining to listen to. I believe he is honest and sincere about what he believes and thinks. Watching his 3 Joe Rogan podcast appearances, which are about 3 hours long each, I sense little malice or deception in what he says. It’s hard to BS for that long when you are talking that fast.
I’m glad he’s making a fortune online now. The more people like him who can get their viewpoints out without having to be beholden to the various establishment academic juntas, the better.
