Well Stucky I am quickly running out of hope.I think it may be to late for even God to save us. We are going to lose everything we have taken for granted. The next Demoncrat elected President will put the final knifes into us as a nation.Then the real Powers that be will Collapse the Economy and declare the Constitution null and void. All the sacifices of the past will mean nothing and this Grand experience as a Republic will once and for all be dead. Then it will be Slavery to this government or Total Civil War .At this point I see other end. Hopefully I will be in the Western North Carolina mountains When the shit hits the Fan . Billy Sunday was used in a “Jeeves and Wooster” episode, starring Stephen Frye and Hugh Laurie. The show was well researched and well produced. They called him “Jimmy Mundy” in this episode. It’s about a poet living in the countryside, whose rich aunt comes to New York to be in the fast lane. If he doesn’t do what she says, he could loose the inheritance. At the same time, a British colleague, Bicky, is in New York, lying to his father about what he’s doing, but the father, Lord Bickerstaff, comes to visit. It’s all mayhem after that.

It’s easy to be swayed by the current events, but a gauge I try to live by is : if my emotions are running high or low, it just means my eyes are not fixed on Jesus. Trust in Him and you will not be shaken. Our hearts are with Christ and regardless of what evil is brought against us, it will not come between us and our Savior.
Probably the same advice that was passed among the martyrs during their last hours on the earth. Still applies, find encouragement in this, for nothing can overcome the resurrection that you and I and all who call upon the name of the Lord are included in.

Damn right! I was born in the South but have spent most of my life in the Midwest through no fault of my own. My parents moved north when I was just five years old. We were the first of our clan to emigrate to the North. Most of the rest have never been above the Mason-Dixon line. I’m sure they now regard us as “Yankees” though they are generally polite to our faces when we visit. If I ever decide to return to my Southern roots no doubt I will have to re-apply for citizenship.
