This is what we now strive for in America: mediocre service by disinterested and incompetent employees. This approach is slowly spreading from government to private service providers. So we will be like the old Soviet Union where you need to spend all your free time waiting in lines for everything.

Reminds me of the time I waited at PHL baggage claim for my golf clubs longer than a round would have taken.

That is a too perfect demonstration of the dichotomy between government and private enterprise. A private company working for no nobler of a cause than its own profit is able to cook a hot meal and transport it across town in less time than it takes the government to file some paperwork.
And I guarantee you the useless parasite at the DMV make 3x the wages of that hard working pizza delivery driver. Government is organized theft, nothing more.

Think about if the government was in charge of all pizza delivery. Kinda like the post office.
