The Weaponization Of Social Media

Guest Post by Steve Candidus

A timely new video from James Corbett.

Corbett describes how the US government (and Israel’s) is using social media as well as Wikipedia to manipulate our thoughts, opinions, and keep us under their control.

Be careful what you post and where. They’re watching…

And that’s different from Russia trying to manipulate your vote, how?

How is it different? I don’t live in Russia.
The US has manipulated or overthrown 80 governments since WW2. Russia should be different?

Are we cowards? Do we not post to a blog like this because we might be identified?

The government already knows all about your political orientation by what you buy, where you go, who your friends are, etc.

They are attempting to get people to self censor. Makes their job easier.

The propaganda war has been going on for a long time, but social media and the net makes it much more intrusive. The vast majority ignore it or buy into it, and will never put the phone down. What concerns me more is the control and censorship of the search engines and web content.
What can we do?
I do whatever I can, and that’s not much. DuckDuckGo and such is a pebble in the pond, but I keep looking.

I don’t use any social media. I only use YouTube. But Mike Adams, of Natural News, is building his own non-censured video channel, and we should see something starting next week, he says. If that comes on line, I’ll be switching to his video channel and getting out of YouTube.

Finally found a way to exit, cancel, unhook, leave and say good riddance from Facebook. Now, do I want to exit Twitter? I think it might be a good idea as the first four letters of Twitter are “TWIT” which rather sums up the site and a majority of the “twitterers”. Unfortunately I am currently one of the “TWIT’s” never thought I’d admit that, but there you go. -30-

I am glad to see Bombard’s Body Language’s youtube privileges have been reinstated. She was banned, maybe for calling David Hogg a psychopath…
She came out with a slightly less judgmental evaluation of him.
