I knew there was a good reason why I liked dogs more than most humans…..this characterizes it perfectly.

The true story of Hachi , after his owner / man friend died at work for years the dog waited for him to come home daily at the train station and ultimately died of a broken heart !
When my daughter had some half wit teacher tell her dogs cannot go to Heaven I asked what she thought about the dog that wakes the family up because of a fire then runs back in for the child that was missed in the shuffle . She got that news from the idiot educator after the Christmas break thebyear she got a puppy . She is away at college and her dog and mother and I are always happy to see her when she comes home and the dog moves from the foot of our bed to our daughters every time . A testement Of Great love and loyalty , definitely a quality the creator would never abandoned !

Having more than one woman can only bring trouble and misery. You can never have too many dogs.

Also, don’t expect the old lady to do this, her contract says – til death do us part.

When I was married, my wife and I had two basset hounds.

When she flew off on her broom, I got three more basset’s.

Best trade I ever made…

Steve:

I’ll drink to that…..you can’t take girlfriends/wives to work but your dog is welcome anytime…….

Last night on the way home from work there was an old dog wandering down the freeway. I stopped to try and rescue him. He had a collar and tags. In just a minute or two I could tell he was deaf when he only reacted to the wind hitting him in the butt from about 100 cars blowing by him. He was just wandering aimlessly in different directions every time the wind would hit him. I think he was partly blind because twice he came toward me and each time when he got within six feet he’d go a different direction. I did everything I could think of to help but he was too skittish. He was not injured but walked with a little limp. Ultimately he went the opposite direction on the freeway and it was too dangerous to continue trying to help him as I was more likely to be the cause of an accident or get killed myself so I very reluctantly moved on. All I needed was a rope or a blanket and I could have rescued him. I tried food, coaxing him to come to me or get in the car. Nothing worked. I’m glad he didn’t get splattered in front of me. Hopefully he made it off the road. Didn’t sleep worth a shit.

Do you think your wife or your kids would what this true love animal would do? Dogs are the best thing in life. Cats suck and would never come close to doing what a true love dog would do! I love my dog more than my wife of 50 years!

That’s one of the saddest photos I’ve ever seen. Wow, I just love dogs. They’re the best.
