James O’Keefe and his undercover investigators have once again exposed extreme left-wing activists pursuing a progressive agenda within a position of power – this time infiltrating the State Department.
O’Keefe’s team has previously released undercover videos revealing radical leftists at Twitter bragging about “shadow banning” conservatives, Democrat operatives paid by the Clinton campaign engaging in voter fraud, CNN employees admitting that the Trump-Russia story was a “fake news” ratings bonanza, and the “culture of anti-Trump bias” at the New York Times.
In their latest installment, Veritas met Stuart Karaffa – a State Department employee who is also a ranking member of the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America who is “engaged in radical socialist political activity on the taxpayer’s dime,” while actively advocating for “resistance to official government policies,” according to Project Veritas.
Mr. Karaffa’s loyalties seem to be with DSA, not with his employer.
Karaffa told an undercover Project Veritas journalist that he performs DSA activism while at work for the State Department. He explained that he drafts DSA communications while on the job at State Department: –Project Veritas
“… I’m careful about it. I don’t leave a paper trail, like I leave emails, and like any press s**t that comes up I leave that until after 5:30. But as soon as 5:31 hits, got my like draft messages ready to send out,” says Karaffa, who doesn’t believe he’ll get caught for pursuing his own agenda within the Department of State.
“Maybe someday I’ll go to board of elections jail, probably not,” he said, adding: “I have nothing to lose. It’s impossible to fire federal employees.” Karaffa says “nobody knows” about his activism – and that it’s easy to circumvent State Department ethics disclosures because “… somebody just rubber stamps [the form] and it goes forward… I don’t know if [the ethics officer is] all there. He’s so checked out…”

I found that rather disappointing. One socialist clown in the State Department. Big deal. I certainly hope they didn’t lead with the most damning story. If so, this deep state series will be a giant bust.
O’Keefe hurts his own brand by hyping this stuff so much. Plus, he’s kind of a goofy-looking imp, which makes him harder to take seriously.

I worked in many different government jobs during my lifetime, some in uniform, others as public-private partners with a variety of bureaucracies sheltered by the Federal Employees Union.
They can’t be fired. Ever.
You can only hope we take our early retirements, pensions and whatever other of your tax monies we can get.
I saw this shit everywhere I worked. There are always a few with their own Agenda, be it aligned with 21 or any other agenda.

My comment has little to do with this kind of socialist movement, but a very different kind. Maybe I am wrong, but there are near invisible socialist and really communist enterprises that condition people into a version of the new communist capitalism. I’m thinking of a particular all Chinese owned/operated discount kitchen/bath dealer in Milpitas ,CA. Their business model is about limiting choice, offering cheap Chinese import kitchen cabinets/counter tops. There are no options. What you see in their model kitchens is what you can get, Chinese pre-fab , cabinets limited to an even 3 inches in the 3 dimensions, buy their sinks, their faucets , counter tops are 24″ only with choice of only 2 edges, only 2 panel door choices (shaker and simple raised panel). Quality ranges from crazy bad/cheap, to kinda OK but in every way their are only 2 choices if any as to color (say their white or grey). Yeah, a kitchen with a nice looking but simple hardwood cabinetry and quartz/granite counter tops can be had for 1/3 price of custom, less if they install. I was looking around there yesterday as I considered cutting costs on a kitchen remodel. The salespeople were rude, no help really, all the staff were Chinese as were really all the customers except me. The idea there is you wander around by your self looking at sample kitchens/counter tops, bring your own detailed drawings, then wait a really long time for a “sales/rep” designer to see if what they have works (and probably doesn’t too well with 1 or 2 of extra voids between cabinets), then gives a quote. I never got that far as they whole thing gave me skin creeps. I left.
Later I thought .. that is what communist capitalism looks like.
No one (customer anyway) matters. If you ask questions, the answers are curt (they must get really tired of saying they don’t do that or that). You have few choices just white or grey and really can get only whatever the sample kitchen you picked offers. Quality is gag cheap/bad to looks good anyway. You will assimilate, don’t matter, your time is of no consequence. They even have racks of different door choices and pull hardware, but in fact, get this, those aren’t really available (I guess to give the illusion of choice). You must choose the sample kitchen features, colors, hardware, as shown with perhaps one other choice of color for each.
I can see a target market, and hey, who doesn’t like to save money. Somehow though it rots the mindset.
Now, I don’t mind a little free enterprise. None of my business. However, you’re right. It’s a great kind of classroom showing what’s coming.
