We have gone from rugged individualism to group-think shit for brains. It was all theater then and it is all theater now. Where is the exit sign??

It’s always been theater. Born in the early 60s , I couldn’t tell you how I ended up now. But I had to break away. Always the “negative one”, I left for Chamonix in 2000 for the ski season at 37.

I’ve never been able to come back. I now make my home in Jackson Hole. I will always be ” negative” and am comfortable only being among “negative people”

Being a ” negative person” is the norm at the extreme.

I skied Mount Blanc in 1990. We took the glacier down for over 17 miles. It was one of the most awesome and harrowingly enjoyable experiences of my life. I understand why JH is your home.

To think most young men today live in mom’s basement……God help us.

Even among the shining examples, it’s a sad cultural harvest the Liberty Tree has purchased over the years, wasting some lives and saving aberrations. I’m utterly convinced urban liberal ProgTards experience an alternative perception of reality that doesn’t refine character, but rather warps it.
Hardship has merit.
I hope the next 100 years swings the pendulum back to some degree, and this is a major reason why at least two of my boys are cadets in the oldest military college in the U.S. My darkest wish is that when I’m gone after pointing them in the correct general direction, they will abide and think maybe the Old Man was right.
