Shutdown or no shutdown, I have a estimated tax payment due the middle of January. Should I send it? Would you?? Is there a CPA in the house??

A shutdown that only affects non-essential employees .
If they are non-essential what the fuck are we paying them for and why will they receive back pay for days not worked .
If we as taxpayers are expected to make people whole financially for days not worked are we not all owed a great deal of back lost wages ?
Equal protection under the law is for all Americans not just federal employees !

The IRS was non-essential before 1913, and the country apparently did OK.
