My friend had her daughter in a fancy dance school/salon in Columbia, Md. The dancing was exquisite. There was an adult man on stage with the young girls and boys (middle school to early teen) and I assumed he was an instructor or worked to help support the young girls with lifts.
My friend, on the way home, told me he was a student, paying full tuition because he said he just loves to dance and it gives him great exercise.
I asked her if that didn’t raise a red flag to her and she said he had never touched one of the kids inappropriately. To her knowledge.
Was she at the same recital I attended? Did she not see that old man dancing around all those kids in tights and think that in itself was inappropriate? Her daughter transferred to POM dance and that was with the school. The only old perverts were the ones hired by the school.
However, when I went to that performance at the school, I discovered the autistic children in the dance classes were allowed to just wander around the stage while we applauded their Special Olympian performance. I’m sorry, but the Special Olympics are wonderful, but just like with everything in the Charity Industry, they take it too far.
If my kid was in school, trying to learn to dance and had to dance with someone listening to a different drummer, it would piss me off.
As far as the basketball team pictured, I’m sure it makes perfect sense to all of them for some really well-intended reason. Well, except the one to the guy’s right, who is refusing to put hand over heart! Maybe she doesn’t think it such a great idea?

I LAY FULL balme on the baby boomers. They are retired with not a damn thing to lose by speaking out against this insanity. When you cannot say aloud how obviously insane this is without fear of of persecution then these idiots should be fearful of our feelings. I am distraught at having to act like this is normal. Distraught at being forced to sit and watch this and not bwing able to have but one opinion and that being overwhelmingly positive or face persecution.
