Are you sure? I actually got that image last night from a Mt. Everest collection of images online and now, went and got this one of Ama Dablam and I think the two images are the same…

pretty sure. do a google search. a photo comes up, and then click on it. I heard say it is the most beautiful peak in the Himalayas. I have to agree.
I don’t think that is Everest either. Course, I’ve never been there, only in pictures … like the Moon … LOL.

To the point regarding those motivated to engage in potentially life threatening pursuits , fine go for it , just do it blah blah because it’s there !
However in your preparation regarding expenses for transportation and equipment include the bond insurence premium to cover the cost of rescue or recovery if needed otherwise expect to be left for infinity . The cost to rescue these adventurer minded people can be in the hundreds of thousands much passed on to the taxpayer .
Life choices have risks like feeding sharks generally not a good idea !
To the thumbs down please comment why people continue to engage in risky behavior and average people get the bulk of the bill to prevent or recover them after their demise . This happens in many areas of our society and the cost is staggering
