Tomorrow I’m going to get to make something right, even though I didn’t fuck it up. I believe there’s value in making something right if you can. Before I was even born, my Mother had a yellow diamond ring. My grandmothers sister stole it and gave it to the church (she did this kind of thing a lot) and my Mother never saw her ring again. I’ve ordered her a yellow diamond ring for Mother’s Day, tomorrow I pay for it. It’s going to be a platinum band engraved with her name and a 18k yellow gold crown to hold the stone. I’ve wanted to do this for a while now, I figure if I don’t get it done soon depression 2.0 is going to hit and I’ll never be able to afford to do it.
Very Cool! Love working with wood and have done so for over four decades (furniture, houses, decks, RC aircraft, etc…). Being involved in a project of that magnitude though is an experience one would never forget. Thanks for sharing… Chip
